A talk in a coffee shop.

Johnny stepped over and stood beside her. "If wishes were horses then beggars would ride. Just because we want it doesn't mean we get it. If everyone got along there would be no villain's, no hero's, no criminals. And honestly life would be really boring if everyone just got along." Johnny said.

Lorna looked down as she listened to him..She looked up at him, "Why..why do you like me?" She asked, wanting to know, "And why do you care?" Lorna asked, "I..I need to know.."

Johnny smiled. "Well I told you one before but also because of what you just said. Wanting everyone to get along... how can someone not like a person who truly honestly wants that?"

Lorna smiled up at him, before looking down at her wrists, "I still can't believe..I tried to.."

Johnny nodded and looked down. "Everyone gets overloaded sometimes. You just had one too many stressers and you just reacted badly. You learned your lesson and know you know better." Johnny said.

Lorna rubbed her wrists lightly, soothing them..Though she winced when she accidentally rubbed too hard, "Ow..ow..ow..I forgot how sensitive the cuts still are."

Johnny stared as Lorna rubbed her wrists. He then noticed her coffee was low. "I'm going to get you some more coffee." Johnny went to the counter to get her a refill.


As Johnny left two guys spotted Lorna rubbing her wrists. "Hey Baby." One of them sidled up to her smirking confidently. His buddy standing behind him grinning at her. Suddenly guy number one spotted the cuts on her wrist. "Look what we got here dude. Looks like we've go a little masochist on our hands. Is that it Baby." He moved in on her getting very close to her face with his own. "You get off on pain? I can give you that." He smirked at her. His friend laughing behind him.

Lorna nodded at him as she smiled. She looked at the pond again, before she turned around to see two boys. She went to talk, but they got closer to her, making her unable to try to get away. Lorna's eyes widened when they noticed her wrists, and her eyes widened more when they got in her face. She looked away from him, "L-Leave me alone.."

"Now why would we do that?" The boy smirked and grabbed her wrists tightly smirking at her. The other boy gave a big laugh loving the power his friend had over Lorna.

Lorna's eyes widened before she closed her eyes in pain. She tried to get away from him, and she couldn't focus on her emotions so she couldn't free herself. She shrieked when he pressed harder. Her eyes widened when the other boy covered her mouth, making her scream more as she felt herself start to cry. Lorna bit the boy's hand, making him move his hand away, just enough time for her to scream, "JOHNNY!" Lorna screamed out in pain, trying to get out of the boy's grip.

Johnny heard Lorna scream for him. He ran outside seeing two guys grabbing her. Johnny rushed up behind them and Johnny reached his arms around the first guys neck snapping it with a quick twist. He then grab the other guy around his neck chocking him.


"You Son of a Bitch, how dare you touch her." He snarled.

Lorna shrieked when Johnny snapped the guy's neck. Before she shrieked when he started chocking him, "S-Stop it Johnny! Don't kill him!" She shrieked, backing up as the tears fell down her cheeks, "Please Johnny!"

Johnny stopped chocking the man. He then turned to her and looked at her with a child like confusion. "But why? They were going to hurt you. What's the problem?" Johnny kept his hold on the guys neck making sure he didn't get away.

Lorna looked at him with a pleading look, "Save the killings for the arena.."

Johnny looked at the guy and shrugged, dropping the guy on his feet. He then turned the guy to face Lorna and forced him to his knees.

"Say thank you. Because that woman is the only reason you aren't joining your buddy." Johnny held him and waited for him to speak.

Lorna looked down at the boy when he was forced on his knees.

"T-Thank you..and..I'm sorry." He said, before he ran off when the man let him go..

Lorna looked up at Johnny, "Thank you.."

Johnny grinned at her at the thanks. He didn't get that much. Johnny then spotted Lorna's wrists. The scabs that covered her wrists had been ripped open. Johnny grabbed her wrists quickly, but gently. He bent her wrists so that the bleeding would slow. "We need to get these re-wrapped. We don't want you to pass out. I should get you back to the Institute."

Lorna winced when he grabbed her wrists, looking at him as she nodded, "Okay.." She said as she walked with him back to the mansion.
