Candy shop

Roy woke up in the empty bed. He didn't see or hear Dick anywhere. He sighed and got dressed.

Dick sighed outside the door, he could hear rustling of clothes before walking in with an offering of coffee, "I have coffee..." He said lamely, but perky. He had a noticeable limp to his walk, one in which Roy could have been proud to have done.

Roy turned around, seeing Dick come in. "I thought you left." He said a bit surprised. He took the coffee from him.

Dick bit his lip, "I... was a bit scared. I... I dind't know how you'd react. I got dress and fled." Dick looked away, "But... that woman from yesterday, she convinced me I was over reacting." He laughed out, "I was whelmed." He said, taking his free hand and brushing his bangs away, "But... what does this make us, Roy? What are we to each other...?" He said, his bright, blue eyes shaking in nervousness.

He listened to the other talk. Then he looked down at his coffee. "I don't know. What do you want?" He was thinking about his prior commitment to Jade as enemies with benefits. He didn't know what to think about this one.

Dick didn't know how to respond, "I... I'm not sure. But... I want it to mean something." Dick moved his eyes to Roy's, unsure of what to say.

Roy looked at Dick. "Mean what exactly? Do you want to just have sex or something more?" He said taking a seat on the bed.

Dick grabbed his arm, suddenly thinking this was a bad idea, Roy clearly didn't want or understand what he wanted, "Um... I..." Gah, he needed to get over this irrational shyness he felt around Roy, "I... want something. I don't want mindless sex, if I wanted that I would've just been laid again." Dick looked away, not proud of what happened, "I want you, Roy... I want you. More than anything, I want to be yours." He whispered, moving his face to look back at Roy's.

He was surprised. He looked down, letting the words sink in. A small smile curved the side of his lip. He looked back at Dick. "Then I shall be yours." He said taking Dicks hand in his and looking him in the eyes, smiling.

Dick put his coffee down, letting Roy take his hands. Dick felt... needed. It felt nice, so nice, "That's all I wanted." He pulled the taller man into a kiss, making a note to tell Felicia.

...Dick removed himself from Roy, feeling his heart drop, "What do we tell our dads?"

He laughed. "Don't worry Juliet we are grown men now. Besides if Arrow is marrying that tramp, then he has no right to meddle in my love life."

Dick snorted, "Now, Romeo," He said in the best British accent he could pull, but it was actually pretty decent. Sounded like a Londoner though, "I'm not worried about your father... But Bruce might attempt to kill you." He winced, still moving around in his British accent.

He smirked. "He can try, not sure if he succeeds. And isn't he against that?"

"He killed Scarecrow." Dick stated, squeezing Roy's hand, "He may not remember it, but... yeah."

He looked shocked. "Really?! Well lets hope he doesn't go on a rampage then." He said teasing the younger man.

Dick whined, "That's not funny! He could seriously hurt you!" Dick removed his hands, folding his arms over his chest, pouting.

He'd win Roy's concern.

Roy smiled. "Well if he does, I bet you are there to nurse me then." He said pinching Dicks cheek.

Dick's cheeks flustered, "No way, I'm not wearing a nurse's dress again."

Roy lifted up hi eyebrows. "Again?" He laughed. "Sweet little Dickie, you know male nurses don't wear dresses?" He said messing Dicks hair.

"...I wasn't posing as a boy." He stated, waiting for Roy to laugh at him.

Roy laughed. "You weren't? What kind of mission were you on then?"

Dick gave an angry pout, "I was on recon with Bruce! Gah, it was totally not asterous!" He growled out, unhappy with that memory.

He tried to keep his grinning to a minimum. "What happened?"

"Other then getting groped by every patient..." he mumbled out, "It went well, had enough information to get Tw..." He paused, not wanting to go there. He looked away, not wanting to expose what that lead up to.

Roy held up his hand. "It's okay you don't have to tell me." Though he could guess some details about what happened. He looked down at his coffee and took a sip. "So what now? you want to go tell your dad so he won't kill us when he finds out?" He asked glancing at his partner.
