In the Dark of the Night

After talking to Bruce Clark entered Chloe's room and stared down at her, "I hope you wake up this time Chlo." He said and held her hand before he turned to leave, he didn't see that Chloe's window had been left open...

Jubilee came in through the window. She was so excited that it was a public domain that she didn't need an invitation to be in. She solidified in the room turning towards the bed.

There was a woman that looked sick, almost dead. Jubilee was there in a blink of an eye, staring at her. The was no heart beat that she could hear and feel. She felt horrible for the moment but she knew how to help her. She could bring her back to life.

Chloe slept on, never knowing the danger she was about to be in.....

Jubilee let her fangs come out, biting her wrist. She looked out to the full moon, that meant getting her back would be much easier. Jubilee ripped some of her wrist flesh off, blood pouring out of it. She put her wrist of Chloe's mouth, picking her head up lightly. It would help the blood move down her throat to the more infected areas. She was already dead, so there would be no need to kill her.

Chloe could feel pain and that was when she started to wake up, "What..." But she couldn't get any words out as blood was being tipped into her mouth. Absolute horror filled her, what was happening? she had no control over her limbs as she still had no energy.

Jubilee moved her wrist away, a weird heart beat fluttered in the room. She licked her wound just before backing up, the girls heart was beating, but she had just started the transformation for her, "Oh damn it. I fucked up." she whispered out quickly locking all the doors and shutting the blinds and curtains. In case of emergency or something.

"What did you do to me?" Chloe asked quietly and in horror, she had an idea of what the girl had done she just hoped she was wrong.

"Don't freak out. But... do you feel weird... have a huge need to eat or drink?" Jubilee asked lightly, she was confused. She didn't know what she had done. She just wanted to save the poor woman's life.

Chloe frowned, "Both but that's normal for me after I heal someone." She said quietly she did indeed feel hungry but it felt slightly different then usual.

"Does it feel funny... um... feelings for another person amplified... uh... severely need to bite something?" Jubilee shot out questions quickly, unsure of what she had really done.

Chloe frowned, now that she mentioned it she really wanted to see Bruce and o-e why was her mind heading to the gutter? She shook her head, "Um yes and I really need to bite something." She whispered as the desire overtook her on top of her thoughts about Bruce.

Jubilee started freaking out for a moment, "Uh.. uh... I might have turned you... into a vampire..." Jubilee ran her fingers through her spiky black hair. She looked the girl over. Her eyes weren't tinted, well a little bit she guessed. Jubilee moved in the blink of an eye next to Chloe, "Uh... don't bite anything. Or you might really actually fully become a vampire. I'm so sorry I... I thought you were dead... and you looked so young I... I wanted to give you a chance to live. I..." Jubilee was tripping over herself. Blood tears started to roll down her face.

Chloe's eyes widened, "You're a vampire?" She asked quietly and gulped as she saw the blood tears, "Its ok, I don't blame you, you were just trying to help." She said but she felt terrible, What will happen if I become a vampire? She wondered.

Jubilee nodded, "I was let in by Wally. He couldn't believe I was a vampire, until I bit him. Then he tried to kill me by opening the blinds!... okay I'm exaggerating but still!" Jubilee folded her arms, pouting, "But yeah. As long as you don't bit someone... you should be fine. So, just don't go near someone. Not even if you feel like you're in love with someone so much that... you just don't think you can live without them." Jubilee said quickly, hoping to get the information in before Chloe really snapped.

Chloe's eyes widened, "I can't get near anyone?" She asked in disbelief, she wasn't sure what she would do if she never saw Bruce again. Her heart hurt at the thought that she might never be near him again.

"You can't, if you bite them... things can happen. I've only heard myths but it you bite someone. You run the risk of doing the same thing that's happening to you to them. Or... something like that. I don't remember, it's been years." Jubilee said quickly.

Chloe's eyes widened in terror, "I have to leave, I can't stay here another minute." She said and got up somehow finding the strength to grab a bag, "I can't endanger the people I care about." She said as she stuffed some clothes inside.

"You can't leave. The sun's going to be up any minute. I mean... you'll die." She stammered out, she needed the woman to stay still.

Chloe sagged down in defeat, "Maybe its better that way." She said quietly, she knew that if she stayed she would be endangering everyone she knew.

Bruce frowned in defeat. He needed to talk to Chloe. He walked out of him room. It was early in the morning, the sun hadn't even come up yet he was completely awake. He knocked on her room door, "Chloe?" He asked, wondering if she was even alive to the world after bringing him back from the brink.

Chloe's eyes widened when she heard his voice, she shot a terrified look in Jubilee's direction, she backed up. "I have to go." She whispered, already the desire to have her way with Bruce and biting him was becoming too powerful.

Jubilee held up her finger to her mouth, "Hush, maybe he'll go away." Jubilee poofed into a think air, moving near the ceiling. Jubilee knew Chloe would be able to see her, but a normal human couldn't.

Bruce noticed something odd, he could hear more then one female voice. But to his knowledge she hadn't met any other women, "Chloe are you okay in there?" He asked, his tone a little worried for the woman.

Chloe backed up even more, the desire was becoming too much, she glanced up at Jubilee and sighed. "Bruce...I uh I'm fine." She said, hoping that maybe he would leave.

"You sound so fine..." a dis-embodied voice said. Almost rolling her eyes in complete defeat, she felt bad for the man about to walk into the room. He sounded hot.
