Bringing the Real Rogue to the Mansion

Kitty led Rogue to the Mansion and allowed her inside the Living Room, "So you must have a lot of questions going through your mind, what do you want to know?" She asked as she settled into a chair.

Rogue looked around the room. She sighed, "Tell me everything. If I'm to figure out how to get out of here I must know ever detail." Rogue's leadership ability started to show, she was always the leader since Storm disappeared.

Kitty smiled at her and then explained about how they had to kill twenty Villain's in order to leave, "There was a match recently, and it was the scariest thing I've ever seen." She said quietly, she rubbed her face and sighed she wished she could just get away from this living nightmare.

Rogue took in the information quietly, her mind was thinking of things, "So we cannot use our powers... at all... hm... except in matches." She mused out loud. She had no second thoughts about killing another villain, she had done it enough times to only take their powers and kill them without mercy. She shook her head, her training had been too good, "So... What happened at the last match?"

Kitty sighed,"Well there's a really cute superhero called Superman, anyway he was like fighting against this like really crazy lady called The Black Queen. She was this psycho who went around trying to control people a few weeks ago, anyway she used some sort of rock that weakened Superman. She actually stabbed him twice with it, but he killed her." She said as she bit her lip.

Rogue's eyes widened a little bit before returning to normal, "So... rocks can harm his powers? That's a new one... know anything else about anyone here?"

Snow White nodded, "There's Flash, and he's super-fast, then there's Black Canary, and she can do some sort of high-pitched scream, then there's Kara, she's Superman's cousin and Logan has been dating her. Oh and there's some new arrival, her name is Catwoman and she's really cool she doesn't even have any powers! Last but not least, there's Hawkgirl, she can fly and um I think that was all I was able to catch. Oh and Storm's here too!" She said with a smile.

Rogue stood up quickly, "Storm's here? Is she alive and well?" rogue placed Kitty's information in her head and thought about fighting. She could take the Flash's powers momentarily and just touch the person against her in the ring, "I see... So... well rounded are they?"

Kitty nodded and then looked down, "There is something else that I haven't told you yet, that collar you're wearing it nullify's your powers. You can touch me and it wouldn't lay me out." She said quietly, "The only place you can use your abilities is in the Danger Room or the Arena when you're fighting a Villain." She said

Rogue paused and looked at her hands slowly, "You... don't mind if I practice on you... right?" Rogue whispered out. She hadn't touched another human being that wasn't her enemy in a long time.

Kitty got up slowly, "Yeah its fine with me." She said softly, she couldn't blame Rogue for being shocked if she had her power she didn't know what she's do.

Rogue slowly pulled off her glove and looked at her hand. She slowly laid a finger on Kitty's cheek. One by one until she had her complete hand on her face. She could feel Kitty's skin, it was warm. Something she hadn't felt in a while. Tear welled up in her eyes as they slowly fell down her face. She took her hand away from Kitty's face watching that she hadn't absorbed anything from Kitty. She felt... happy. Here she could touch people and not have to worry about killing them. Freedom, at the price of freedom.

Kitty started crying too, the look of awe on Rogue's face as she was able to touch her made her feel terrible. She couldn't even begin to understand Rogue's feelings about finally being able to touch someone, "Are you going to be ok?" She asked quietly.

"I'm fine... perfect..." She whispered out. She was in complete and utter awe of that fact she could touch people. She shut her eyes and quickly wiped her face off, "I'm sorry I shouldn't lose my control like that..." she paused, she could actually lose control like that. No one could take over her body in this place, she took notice to the fact that the voices in her mind were no longer existent. "God, this place is perfect." she whispered out.

Kitty frowned, "Aren't you worried about having to kill people?" She asked in a hushed whisper.

Rogue looked at Kitty with a frown, "Killing... is something I've done too many times. I've killed people I love... without meaning. I will most likely regret the killing but it most likely won't bother me if it saves my friends..." Rogue placed her hand on Kitty's shoulder, "To save us all, I'll kill anyone." She meant it.

Kitty didn't know why but that bothered her, "Rogue...what's happening back home? Because the Rogue I know would never kill anyone, I know you would never kill on purpose." She added.

Rogue looked away, she didn't even want to begin to tell her the harsh realities going on back at home. "A lot... has happened. X-men are being besieged by both the humans and a group of people who have called themselves the Protector's... So we've all been doing the most to save the school. Unfortunately... it meant loss of life, we all had to kill at least one or more members of the human or Protector parties... or else die..." Rogue looked back at her, "It's hell on Earth. I was taken during a breach of our security... so I'm not sure what's happening as of now. I just hope everyone is okay."

Her eyes widened, "The Protector's? They're the one's in charge of this messed up universe!" She said angrily.

Rogue's eyes widened, "T-they're in control here..." That can't be! She screamed in her head, "How is that possible...!" Rogue rolled the thoughts around in her head.

Kitty frowned in sympathy when she saw Rogue's look of horror, "They're the one's who came up with the collars. Just be happy you weren't around when The Overseer was in charge, he was not a pleasant man." She said and shuddered.

Rogue swallowed a little bit, "Can I meet the rest of the people? I... I just want to know who else is here." Rogue was still thinking about the Protectors. Was there a reason why they were here? Or was it something more sinister.

Kitty smiled again, "Oh sure, I'll just have to hunt down people wanna come with me?" She asked as she held out her hand.

Rogue looked down at the hand and slowly touched it and held it, "Yes, let's."

Kitty smiled and then led Rogue out of the Living Room, "Hmm, maybe we could get Kara or someone." She said and then froze. "Oh my, look."She whispered and pointed out Clark's very muscled figure, she couldn't help but check him out. She giggled, "That's Kara's cousin." She said in a stage whisper to Rogue.
