The Morning After

Clark slowly woke up to see Diana in his arms and smiled as he remembered the events of the other night. She looked lovely as she slept and he was content to just hold her in his arms and relax.

Diana felt Clark move, causing her to attempt to get closer to him once more.

He smiled and pulled her closer against him when he saw her shift towards him, he gently stroked her hair as he stared down at her.

"You're warm." she mumbled out, feeling his fingers brushing through her hair. She didn't want to open her eyes yet, perfecty content with the warm darkness.

He smiled at her words, "And you're beautiful."He said as he kissed her forehead gently, he was the luckiest guy in the world.

Diana Opened one of her eyes, "And your handsome." she whispered out, tiredly. She felt comfortable where he was, hoping they could just stay there for the day.

Clark smiled, "Why thank you." He said with a warm smile as he leaned back already craving sleep once more.

Diana leaned forward, bringing her lips to meet his own, "Morning." she whispered out.

Clark kissed her back gently as he let his hands slide up her back, "Morning yourself." He said when he pulled back.

Diana just leaned her head back unto his chest listening to the steady beat of his heart. "How'd you sleep?"

He smiled, "Really good, how about you?" He asked as he smiled down at her enjoying the view.

"great." Diana said with a small smile. Moving her eyes too look up at his.

He smiled and bent down to kiss her again when he pulled back he smiled,, "I'm glad to hear that." He said in a husky voice.

Diana reunited the kiss, making it last a bit longer.

He smiled into the kiss and pulled her closer against him, he was aware though that she might still be sore after last night so he reluctantly pulled away.

Diana let go feeling Clark pull away, she sat up hold the cover over her chest to not flash Clark. She looked at him, tiltin her head, "How was it, last night... For you?" she asked, wondering what it felt like on the other end.

He smiled at her actions, she was so adorable he thought and then grinned, "Last night was fantastic Diana...how was it for you?" He asked.

"It wasn't as painful I thought it would be... It was fantastic though." she breathed out.

He smiled, "Well that's good to know, I'm glad it was." He said as he held her close.

Diana shivered lightly, looking at herself, "... Do you mid if I go take a shower?" she said with a red tone to her cheeks.

He smiled, "Not at all Diana." He said and kissed her lightly on the forehead.

Diana grabbed a sheet wrapping it around himself to hide her bloodied legs from his sight. He quickly disappeared into the bathroom with some clothes having been set aside for her from the previous day. She turned on the water and slipped into the shower.

Even though she had tried to hide it Clark had seen the blood on her legs and winced, he hoped she had been honest about enjoying their time together. He decided to go and get his clothes back on so he could change into something else in his room.

Diana leaned against the shower wall watching the water wash the blood off of her. She didn't understand how this blood came so much Without Gavin a wound of some sort. She grabbed the soap washing her legs off.

Clark hurried to his room and almost smiled when he saw Krypto lying on the bed, "You were with Diana weren't you?" asked Krypto as he looked up at Clark. Clark smiled before finding a new set of clothes to change into, "Maybe I was." He said with a smile as Krypto put his head back and studied him. Krytpo sighed and then shifted on the bed, "Just remember to play with me." He said as he looked up at Clark. Clark smiled, 'Don't worry buddy I will." He said and headed to the bathroom to change before heading back on out to be in Diana's room again.
