Meeting someone

Remy chuckled. "Right, stupid question." He said, before kissing her on the lips once more. He pulled her closer to him and slowly moved his lips against hers in a gentle rhythm.

Remy couldn't help the smile that was on his lips as he kissed her. Knowing she wanted to kiss him, actually enjoyed it, and cared about him made the kiss even better then it could be.

His hand on her back rubbed it gently, not going north or south. He was a gentleman after all.

Rogue loved the touch. She wanted more. Rogue quickly pulled back off of Remy, she needed to control herself. She couldn't let herself lose control and perhaps hurt him. Rogue looked back up at Remy's eyes. "You can't... even begin to fathom how much I've wanted to do that and for how long..." her voice faded to a whisper.

Remy smiled at her and caressed her cheek. "I've wanted that for a long while too, Mon Amour. We shall take things slow, yes?" He asked, winking.

Rogue nodded slightly, "Yes, we should. I don't think I could think of it fast..." Rogue's eyes fell, "I have to be in complete control during the entire time." Her great mood plummeted to one filled with depression and loathing.

Remy tilted her head up and kissed her forehead. "Don't worry about it too much, Mon Amour, you're still young, no reason to go too fast, no? You'll get the hang of this one day, you'll see. We just need to make sure we can take your collar back and possible have that friend of yours that's good with machines, Forge, was it? Maybe he can work on it?" He suggested, trying to bring her mood up once more.

"Just be happy you can do the things you can do now." He said, softly, turning her gaze to his. He kissed her lips softly once more.

Rogue nodded lightly, "Y-yeah, I guess we could do that..."

Rogue felt his lips brush, her own. She lightly kissed back moving her head, "I'm glad you're here."

Gambit hugged her close to him. "So am I, Rogue." He whispered into her hair.

He held her for awhile, just holding her, occasionally rubbing her back.

Polaris was out once again, taking Pietro's advice to meet some people at Xavier. She entered the garden typed place. Only to stop shortly as she saw Gambit. Her eyes widened..seeing him holding a woman. Though, the woman's back was facing her. When she saw Gambit see her, she froze, staring at the two..

I really do not like this world..

Gambit felt someone's gaze on them, so he looked up and then immediately froze.

Polaris...

He mentally cursed. Magneto, why didn't you tell me your daughter was here as well?! He thought, wishing he was telepathic.

Rogue looked up at Gambit before turning to try to see what he was looking at, "Remy, what are you looking at?" She turned and saw a woman, she hadn't seen her before.

Polaris didn't notice the girl turned around. She stayed staring at Gambit, before looking away, "Typical." She whispered, turning around as she walked off, not wanting to deal with the man who used her.

Gambit winced a little at her word when they reached his ears. He sighed, before looking back at Rogue. "There's... a misunderstanding between that young woman and I... I'm absolutely positive she thinks I used her, when in fact, I did not..." He started to explain, before closing his mouth.

He sighed once more. "It's... a long story..." He struggled to get out.

Rogue frowned, "Care to tell me this... delightful." she said the word sourly, "story?" Rogue folded her arms, looking at the man with a frown on her face, this ought to be interesting.

Polaris looked back, feeling a bit of anger grow inside her. She bit her lip, feeling the tears sting in her eyes.

This place is awful..

She walked off for good this time, not wanting to even wait for him.

Remy looked back at Polaris and saw her tears. LeBeau, what are you going to do? He asked, himself before turning back to Rogue.

He gave her a kiss on the forehead. "I promise, I'll explain everything to you, Rogue, but I need to talk to her and set things right." He said, with full on seriousness as he looked Rogue in the eyes.

He let go of her before chasing after Polaris. He caught up to her. "Polaris, let me explain what-"

Rogue frowned watching him leaving, she rolled her eyes, "Seriously? That's cool." Rogue waved the man off, he was in deep waters with her now. She left the Garden in search of someone better to talk to.

Polaris turned around, "Shut up!" She said, looking at Gambit, "I have nothing to talk to you about..Just go to your girl." She said, turning around to walk off.

Remy groaned. "Polaris! Please!" He said, grabbing her hand. "I did not mean to leave without saying goodbye, I was going to talk to you that next morning, but your father came in and sent me out on another assignment!" He stated, feeling her jerk her hand out of his.

"I'm telling you the truth, Polaris... And I never meant to play with your feelings... I thought we were just having fun flirting, I didn't realize it would get serious on your half. I'm sorry, Polaris..." He said, doing his best to explain and telling her the honest truth.

Polaris stared at him, snatching her hand away from him, "So now your bring my father into this?" She asked, before listening to the rest of his story. She looked away, "Well you sure were having a fun time flirting back." Polaris said, crossing her arms, before looking down.

Remy sighed. "I brought your father into this, because he was the reason why I left; you can ask him yourself! I even asked him to tell you that I had to leave and that I was sorry that I didn't get a chance to say goodbye or talk to you more." He said, taking a step towards her.

"Polaris, I tend to do that; I flirt with beautiful women, because I want to be friendly and they deserve a chance to feel beautiful as they truly are. I truly did and do want to be your friend. You deserve better then a thief like me anyways. Actually, all women do... but, that's beside the point."

Polaris listened to him, finding herself less angrier, and angrier. She looked down at the ground, before she looked up. She could tell he was saying the truth..Which made her feel stupid, "I believe you."

Remy smiled, feeling a great weight was lifted off of his shoulders. He grabbed her hands and kissed them. "Thank you, Polaris. If there's anything I can do for you, I will."

Polaris blushed as she looked away, "Your welcome." She said, before looking at him, "Okay..I guess..don't leave that girl..you seemed happy with her.."

Remy smiled at the thought of Rogue. "I am very happy with her. I care about her more then she truly knows..." He said, trailing off a little bit.

He shook himself out of it. "I need to find her again and explain things to her. I didn't give her much of an explanation, because I felt it was best to clear things up with you as soon as possible. And now I need to clear things up with her... and just after we've made such progress too..." He said the last part mostly to himself.

His words hurted her, but, she didn't let it show. She gave him a smile, putting her hand on his shoulder, "Then go explain things with her. I'll talk to you another time, if she means so much to you. Then go after her and explain. I understand."
