Rogue mock bowed back before walking in front of him, also taking notice to the guys following them. She fell back next to him whispering, "Do you think they're going to try something?"

Pietro raised an eyebrow like she was being ridiculous.


"Of course they are. You don't follow a couple out of a movie theater after one of them said you were dickless without planing to do something."


Pietro dropped half a step behind Rogue. She was tough but without gloves on Rogue could get one of these jerks in her head by accident. I would be better if he dealt with as many of them as Rogue would let him. She wasn't a damsel in distress so he knew she would not appreciate him trying to protect her without her involvement.

Rogue sighed, people were weird. She much rathered the company of mutants. She had a thought, but kept it to herself.

Pietro continued walking noticing that the guys following them were increasing their speed trying to catch up to them. His eyes narrowed as they got closer.

Rogue noticed Pietro's getting ready to jump the poor guys that didn't stand a chance behind them. She was half tempted to just stop and ask them to leave, "Can I just yell at them to stop following us? It would save me so much trouble."

"Fine." Pietro turned and one of the losers smacked into his chest. Pietro was almost a full head taller them him.


The guy looked up slowly from Pietro's chest.


Pietro glared down at the guy his eyes cold, promising pain if the man made a wrong move. Pietro found that even if he didn't want to fight acting like he was much more willing to do so then he really was usually made others rethink fighting him.


"Is there something we can help you gentlemen with?" Pietro's voice was cold and calculating, daring these guys to try something.

Rogue rolled her eyes, Pietro's machoness was a bit... dramatic, "Guys, what do you want? Seriously? If you have to chase a stalk a girl to even attempt to talk to her... you have problems bigger than not getting laid." Rogue folded her arms, yet had herself ready if the need arose to defend herself.

That's when she thought about it, their collars would shocker them if they tried to use their powers. She wasn't exactly how far they could get with fighting. Catwoman's memories brought up that the woman had tried to escape from Superwoman before getting shocked.

Pietro rolled his eyes. Rogue just had to ruin his fun.


Pietro saw Rogue fidget slightly. She almost looked nervous about this confrontation. Then it occurred to him Rogue's main defense was her powers, she could fight but her powers were always a direct fall back. Pietro wasn't worried. His father had demanded he train with a suppression collar almost as much as he trained without one.


"Let's go Rogue we don't need to deal with these losers." Pietro took Rogue's elbow gently and began to lead her away. She could of course shake him off easily if she choose too.

Rogue eyes looked around at the men, something seemed off. She let Pietro move her arm, but she didn't turn around. Her eyes were kept focused on the men the were behind Pietro and in front of herself.

Pietro turned to Rogue curiously. If she thought something was wrong he would trust her.

Rogue thought she could almost hear a pin drop. Rogue's eyes dropped the one of the man's pants. A gun-shaped bulge pooched out of the pocket. Rogue took a step back, causing the man that was packing to step forward.

"Now, you're going to want to come with us, lady. Or I'll be forced to used this... weapon on your boyfriend there." The man said, slowly pulling the gun out hiding it behind a jacket side. Pointing the weapon at Pietro's back. The other three men put their hands over their pockets, making Rogue assume they were also packing.

Rogue made a noise, trying to know what to do in this situation. Normally she'd go with them and touch them until they died but... her collar wouldn't let her abilites work. She had no idea what to do...

Pietro turned his head his eyes narrowed again. Pietro turned around fully. He glared.


"If you don't put that away I'll make you eat it." Pietro's voice chilled. Pietro shifted himself in front of Rogue.

"You seem pretty stupid, to stand closer o us. That will make shooting you easier. Then we'll still get our prize." the lead man smirked clicking the safety off, "Now run home to you mother and we won't have to shoot you." the other men did the same motions as their leader. Blindly following the man.

Rogue put her hands in Pietro's back. If he got hurt she'd feel responsible for his injuries. Her brain was working on overtime to think of a plan of attack.

Pietro scowled at the idiot as he moved the gun from his chest to his head. This guy was an idiot. He made the biggest mistake you can make when using a gun. He got too close to someone who actually knew what he was doing.


Pietro grabbed the mans wrist and moved it away from him and Rogue, in case it goes off. He then twisted the gun out of the attackers hand. Then Pietro slammed the butt of the gun into the other mans head. Pietro grabbed the mans head, forced his mouth open and put the barrel of the gun inside.


"Nobody move." Pietro said quickly so that no one would shoot. Pietro then looked at the guy he had on his knees. "I told you I would make you eat this. Now you are going to wave to your friends, and they will put their guns on the ground and kick them over to me, or I am going to blow out the back of your head. Nod if you understand." Pietro moved the gun in the mans mouth up and down making him nod.

The leader grew pale with the metal of the gun shoved into his mouth. The fear plain as day on his face.

Rogue knew that the other men would distracted. Using this to her advantage, she pulled herself over Pietro flipping over the men. She landed silently, Catwoman's abilities and training making this too easy. She swung her leg under the legs of the three followers of the man. The all thudded on the ground, all too stunned to fight back.

"Pietro, break the gun. Don't stick it in his mouth." she groaned out correcting him, if he was going to be a hero he needed to act like one.

Pietro rolled his eyes. "Ruin my fun."


Pietro pulled the gun out of the guys mouth, took out the magazine, removed the bullet that was in the chamber and removed the slide that held the gun together. Pietro dropped all but the slide. The gun was now useless unless the guy could throw the bullets at them.

Pietro turned to Rogue. "Shall we continue?" Pietro asked smiling.

Rogue stood up in a fluid motion, kicking the man's back. The man fell harshly to the ground, shaking for going limp, "No, now we run." Rogue said quickly grabbing Pietro's hand and running back towards their temporary home.

Pietro rolled his eyes but kept up with Rogue. "We could have beaten them down. Why did you want to run?" Pietro asked curiously. Rogue had never struck him as a running away type.

"Because you can't hurt them, that's the police's job. That's what makes us heroes. We don't strike down another human/alien/whatever." She said quickly.

Pietro and Rogue ran for a little while longer before slowing to a stop.


"I guess I have more to work on then just my issues with woman, Huh?" Pietro rubbed the back of his head looking down.

"Just a bit." rogue said lightly, "though you did fine tonight." she said, covering her mouth to stifle a yawn.

Pietro smiled at her yawn. "Come on. Lets get you home you look like your getting tired." Pietro lead her to the car and opened the passenger side.

Rogue pouted, having fun really did wear her out, "fiiine." She mumbled out getting into the car.

Pietro laughed at Rogue's pout. "If you don't want to go home I'll take you anywhere you want. It's just after that yawn you seemed tired. So were do you want to go? Or do you want to keep walking in the park?"

Rogue was sitting in the car's passenger seat looking up at Pietro, "Maybe a little joy riding?" she offered up.
