A Princess and a Knight

"Well, I think he's learning on his own to be honest, but I'd like to think I'm helping him." Diana said aloud.

Oliver smiled. His eyebrows raised. “People here all fall in love.” He shook his head like it was strange. He looked back at her. Seeing her face tricked a laugh storm.

"It's quite odd how people fall in love here... there must be something in the water." She said, in such a serious tone it was funny.

He laughed at her tone. “Maybe that is right. Bruce should check it out.” He chuckled. “Love is like that. When you don’t expected it, it will hit you with the fist of god.” He frowned. Did he just say that out loud?

"Or Goddess" Diana added, laughing lightly, "You seem very spontaneous... what changed that, Oliver?"

He laughed but stopped when he heard her last phrase. He looked at her confused. “what do you mean?”

"I don't know, forget I spoke." Diana said lightly, looking at the sun. It's placement told her she needed to be back at the Mansion soon, "I'll hopefully see you around, Oliver. But for now I must leave." Diana started to walk off, waving goodbye before running.

He frowned but waved at her while she left. He turned around walking back to the mansion. His thoughts were filled with one question while every step took him closer to the person who had his heart. What did she mean?
