Wally meets Lady M

X23 had taken his pills away, and he really needed a fix right now. He got up and went to the medical lab. He was shaking right now. He wet through the cabinets, looking for vicodin. He was knocking things ove, but he didn't care. He couldn't find any vicodin, and in his frustration, he kicked a movable table over to the floor. He ran his hands through his hair, breathing heavily. Suddenly his eyes were glued to a little bottle, it just stood there, the letters clearly spellling out 'morphine'. He looked at the bottle and then looked around looking if anyone saw. He grabbed the bottle and popped one pill in his mouth. He sat down on the floor, feeling the drug take effect. He didn't feel pain anymore. He started to feel sleepy. Wally got up, putting the pill bottle in his pocket. He climbed on one of the hospital beds, and layed himself down on it. He fell asleep almost immediately.

Bruce walked into the Medical Lab, leaning on the door. He heard some clattering while he was on his way. He immediately took notice to Flash fast asleep on a bed in the room. He silently stood there and watched the man, unsure if he should say something or approach him.

He stirred in his sleep. Feeling like he was being watched. He looked over his shoulder, still laying down. He just stared at Bruce. "Hi Bruce." He said quietly, sitting up.

"Wally." He said shortly and quickly. He continued staring at the man, something seeming off about him.

He rubbed his eyes as he sat cross legged on the bed. "I needed a nap." He looked at the man. "How are you Bruce?"

"How are you?" he asked fully dodging Wally's question. He needed to know what felt off about the man.

He looked down. "Not good. I had to kill a man in an arena match." He was playing with his fingers.

Bruce frowned, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Who was it?" He asked lightly, talking about it made it easier on the person who did it.

"Music Meister." He said simply looking away from Bruce.

Bruce's eyebrow went up drastically, "That low level singing man?" Bruce began to wonder how that man of all villains was brought here.

Wally nodded. "Yep. He got a girlfriend, and now she blames me." He was wondering if he should tell him about Canary too, but decided against it.

Bruce made a noise of amusement, "The guy got a girlfriend? Wow." It was completely un-Batman like of him, but he couldn't believe it, "It was a you or him situation. I'm sure if you ask the girl for forgiveness she might forgive you. It's not like you killed him in cold blood... right? It was defense... right?" Batman looked at Flash, examining the man's face, hoping that Flash didn't kill the man for ulterior motives.

He bit his lip, feeling guilt. "It wasn't really clean scene to watch. I got angry at him."

Bruce sighed lightly, "I'm curious to ask why it wasn't clean, but when is life really ever clean? Can you tell me what happened?"

He sighed. "Well first you got to know this to understand why I became so angry. He raped Dinah, and it's his baby she is carrying. I found it out before the match. He was telling me stuff to get under my skin, and it worked." He swallowed hard. "I exploded his heart Bruce. Because I let my emotions get the better of me." He looked at Bruce, with a blank expreccion on his face. His eyes were dull.

Bruce moved closer to Wally every word he spoke. He stood in front of Wally putting his hands on his shoulders and giving Wally his complete and utter attention. He stared into the man's eyes, "I never condone killing. Never, even in the face of death. I let Justice do as Justice does. But that's me. You don't have to compare yourself against me. Flash, you'll make mistakes and you'll regret them. But this, was not a mistake. What you did is completely understandable and this is me speaking. Not the Batman, Bruce Wayne is speaking to you. You had every right, as much as I hate to think about it, to take the man's life for what he has done to you and Dinah." Bruce gaze Wally a light squeeze on the shoulders.

He looked Bruce in the eyes, before looking away. "Then why don't I feel like I did something good. Honestly I feel like Dinah hadn't wanted me to live either."

Bruce sighed, "Women will never make much sense to me and it shows a lot. Now, if Dinah really loved you do you think she'd act that way? If she'd rather see her rapist alive then you... what would that mean?" Bruce questioned Wally, trying to get his attention back, "The answer isn't taking drugs either, Wally."

He listened to Bruces words, still looking away from him. He tensed up when he mentioned drugs. "What drugs?!" He asked looking at Bruce a bit shocked.

"Your pupils are dilated. I'm not stupid by any means, Wally." Bruce side, "That and every time you move I can here pills jumping around in your pocket."

He moved his hand to his pocket, trying to keep the pills safe. He kept his eyes locked with Bruces. "What are you going to do now?" He asked scared.

"Are you injured in away way, shape, or form?" Bruce had a plan.

He tensed up, having a bad feeling. "No...." He leaned away from Bruce.

Bruce quickly punched the man in the chin, effectively knocking the man out. He reached into the man's pocket and grasped the pills, "Wally, never tell me where your stash is." He took them out, throwing them in the sink. He picked up Wally and carried him out of the room. He silently mused on where to bring him.
