Making a Point...

After leaving Supergirl to think about what she had said, she headed to an out of sight alcove and tried to decide what she wanted to do next. Her eyes glittered as an idea sprang to mind,she transformed into a dark cloud that seeped around out of human sight. In this form, she was able to quickly locate Supergirl's newly arrived cousin Superman. She studied the area he was in and smiled darkly as an idea came to mind...

After talking to Kara, Clark decided to find an unoccupied room and changed into a set of street clothes. He was now wearing levi's, a white shirt and sneakers. After that was done, he decided to head out into the garden for some fresh air. He looked around himself and sat down on a bench, he looked around himself and sighed. He didn't notice some of the shovels start to contort and meld together until it became a sharp lethal weapon that was aimed at him.

The Black Queen smiled and could feel the effort that it was taking to maintain the shovel's in a stationary place and then with another pull on her powers she used them to send the sharp end hurtling towards Superman. She smirked and stepped out of her darkness form, Clark didn't even have the chance to turn around before he was struck straight through the back. He gave a cry of agony and crumpled to the ground as the shovel dropped behind him. Blood was soaking through his shirt from the puncture wound that had happened as a result of Selene's attack. He craned his head up painfully to meet Selene's cold gaze and managed to gasp out one word, "Why?" Selene bent down so that she faced him, "Because you're the one person standing in my way." She said before fishing a piece of kryptonite from the confines of a lead shielded box. "This is just a warning.....next time I won't leave a single piece of you alive." She said before throwing the piece of kryptonite near his puncture wound. She turned and slipped back into her dark cloud form...

Kara had heard a cry of agony, recognizing the voice, "Kal-El?" Her eyes widened, "KAL-EL!" She screamed, running towards where she heard his cry, stopping when she saw him bleeding. Running to him fast, "W-What happened?" Her eyes started to water, "Who did this to you!?" She hissed, her body was shaking..

"If you join them I can guarentee your safety and your cousin's.....even the man you love."

The woman's words kept coming into her head..

"Don't......come....any....closer....there's Kryptonite." Clark wheezed, even talking that much caused more pain. His back was in agony and he couldn't feel his legs, "Kara.....it was.....a...woman...who did this." He managed to say, he could feel blood come up at the back of his throat and started coughing up some of it.

Kara hissed, "I can heal remember?!" She gripped the Kryptonite, "Take a deep breath this will hurt.." When he braced himself, she yanked it out of his wound, putting her hand over it fast. She sighed, putting pressure on it. She then stopped, her eyes narrowing, "What woman?"

Clark could feel his vision start to darken, with some effort he managed to gasp out some words, "She....wore...a black cloak....and...she...said....something.....about...me...being...in..her..way." He finally said before he lost consciousness.

Her eyes widened..

Her eyes narrowed, letting them widened as he lost consciousness. She carried him to the Medical Lab, grabbing stitches after she cleaned his wound, and stopped the bleeding. She stitched the wound up, wrapping the bandage around him. Kara let him stay in the Medical Lab, letting him rest..

Kara walked outside, trembling as the anger started to take control of her..That same woman who offered to protect her, and her loved ones..Had attacked her cousin..
