Taking it out on the Danger Room

Kara ran into the Danger room, running to the wall, punching it fast, making her shirt rise above stomach. Her eyes narrowed, closing them as she let the tears fall. She kept punching the wall, letting herself fall to her knees. She felt like she could do nothing right. Kara once again, remembered Ivy's hand that fell, and the blood that poured from her stomach. And now her cousin's words stabbed her head, remembering how upset he had looked. She covered her eyes, crying hard.

Mystique glared down at the crying figure. She had already redid all of the simulations the day before. She came back to the danger room, only to make sure it was ready.

She knew what happened between Supergirl and Wolverine in the pool...

It made her sick to her stomach.

Her anger was fulled again by the site of Kara. She was always crying, always feeling sorry for herself even if she had a guy like Logan...

A guy like James...

Mystique's expression turned darker and colder at the thought. She pressed a few buttons, beginning a simulation that could end the heroine's life.

"Not wise to openly talk about your weaknesses when you don't know who will be watching." She said, to herself, smirking as the simulation began.

Lasers were targeted at Supergirl.

Kara's eyes widened, seeing the Danger room activate. She backed up, her eyes looked around around, "STOP THE SIMULATION!" She screamed, seeing it was stopping. Kara ran to the door, watching it close in front of her eyes. She started to pound on it, pressing the button over and over, "OPEN THE DOOR!"

Mystique sat down in a chair that was in the control panel. She smirked as she watched the show. Why reveal herself? She wanted to stay around much longer.

Besides, She thought, smirking. With Kara gone, I can just take her place. Logan will never know unless we're in the Danger Room, and I can avoid that easily. She thought, completely relaxed in her chair.

She smirked more at Kara's pleas to open the door. The control panel had the blinds on it, so Kara couldn't see her, even if she flew up here. Not to mention security was set to harm her if she got close.

Lasers started blasting her, while spikes coated in kryptonite were awaiting for her to fly. The moment she takes off, the spikes will launch themselves at her.

Kara's eyes widened, screaming as she ran from the lasers, destroying three of the lasers with her eyes. When she went to fly, she felt Kryptonite slice her side, making her fall down. Stopping the Kryptonite from firing, her eyes were wide. Looking around the room, the lasers started to fire. She flew, destroying the rest of the lasers. Though she got stabbed in the leg by the Kryptonite that flew at her. Making her fly to the door fast, screaming as the Kryptonite stabbed her in the side, making her fall down..It didn't hit a vital organ, just made it really painful. She took the rock out of her leg and her side, making her scream in pain, hoping someone was on the other side of the door to hear her.

Mystique wanted to laugh at the show, but Kara might hear her if she did, so she just kept smirking.

Keep on flying, Superbrat, let the spikes come at you.

Kara groaned in pain, taking another risk as a laser shot at her. Letting her fly as she dodged it, screaming in pain as the Kryptonite stabbed her in the arm, making her fall down. She screamed louder then ever, "OPEN THE DOOR! SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP!"

After leaving the Dining Room, Clark started beating himself up again well I really do know how to make a mess of things don't I? He thought angrily, he was walking past a steel door when suddenly he heard screams coming from inside. "OPEN THE DOOR! SOMEONE PLEASE! HELP!" That was Kara's voice....without hesitating, Clark pried the doors open with his super-strength. He almost collapsed from the strength of the jolts he had received from doing so.

Kara pulled the Kryptonite out of her arm, screaming in pain. Watching the blood trickle down her arm, side, and leg. Her vision became blurry, "Kal-El.." she managed to whimper, before passing out on to the ground.

Mystique stood up from her chair quickly when Supergirl's cousin pried open the doors. "Damnit." She cursed, softly, not wanting to risk being louder.

She had to think of away to get out of there before she was caught...

She transformed into a cat and sneaked out of the control panel.

"Meow?" She said, when she was out in front of them.

To the two of them, it would look like an innocent kitty somehow wondered into the danger room at some point.

As soon as Kara collapsed, Clark saw red and without even thinking of his own safety he flew in. He almost paused when he realized that he was able to fly but then continued attacking the sources where the lasers were coming from. The hard part were the kryptonite spikes, he had to use his heat vision to pick them off before they came too close to him. By the time it was over he was feeling like himself again, he swooped down towards Kara and stumbled when he noticed the glittering blood tipped piece of krptonite. He made his way slowly towards Kara and wound up having to drag her a safe distance away from the kryptonite. "Kara, wake up please, don't you dare die on me Kara-El." he said quietly. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw a kitty slink off, but he didn't want to consider that at the moment.

Mystique had slipped past them with ease. She looked back at them and shook her head.

She went around the corner before turning into Rogue. She took a deep breath and ran back to the danger room.

She gasped at the sight. "Oh my gawd, what happened?" She said, in Rogue's voice, running up to them. "Is she all right?" She asked, looking down at Kara's bloody body.

She inwardly smirked. Maybe she'll die in the Medical Lab... She thought, before standing up. "Come on! We got to get her to the Medical Lab!" She said, before turning to run in the direction of the medical lab.

"Shoot, we don't have a doctor! Wait, are you a doctor?" She asked, looking at Superman, not really knowing anything about him.

Clark shook his head and then slowly bent to scoop Kara up in his arms, "She needs to be outside, so that the sun can heal her." He said and decided to take her to the garden, he hoped that he would make it in time, "We'll get you there Kara." He whispered, he just hoped it wouldn't be too late.
