It's James' Birthday! Tag } Wolverine

It had been a year since James had been born. It also marked a year when his mother was able to save his father from Shadow King's darkness. Neither of them, nor the rest of the heroes and villains had heard from the mastermind, which made them more suspicious than calm.

James was sitting on the floor in front of his father, chewing on a block before hearing his name being called. He looked up at his Dad and continued to chew on the block. It wasn't until he saw his dad spread his arms out and told him to come to him, did he take the block out of his mouth and get on all fours. James stayed in that position, his butt in the air before he pushed himself onto his feet. He then got himself balanced before taking steps towards his father, smiling wide as he got closer to him.

As this went on, his mother was on her knees watching the scene play out. A big smile on her face. A face full of joy as she filmed the whole scene with a camera.

Kara watched how her son was biting on a block and looking at Logan. She couldn't believe how cute her son was being. Though she was hoping he would put down block and get onto his feet and walk. It was around the time where he needed to learn. His legs were stronger, and he liked it when they held his hands and backed up to make him do tiny steps. They wanted to teach him to the fullest, so when he did decide it was time to walk he would be able to do it on his own. Her moonlit eyes watched through the camera, waving each time James turned and looked at her. She couldn't help but laugh when he would immediately turn away once she did too. "Oh you're so cute, stop being so cute!" Kara joked as she continued to watch her son.

Then, it happened, her little boy stood up on his own and started to walk towards his father. Causing her eyes to widen as her smile started to grow. She watched how her baby boy took steps, and heard how Logan spat out words of encouragement. It was two things she wanted to see and hear the most. She laughed when she saw how great James was keeping his balance, before laughing in surprise when he reached Logan. Kara watched how her husband pick up their little son before looking at her telling him to wave at her. So when James did wave at her, Kara felt the tears form in her eyes. It was at this point she placed the camera on the table next to her and immediately got up to go to her men.

When she got to Logan she immediately grabbed her baby boy's hand gently and kissed him on the forehand. "What a good boy, you did it! You did it!" She laughed, listening to how James laughed as she started to kiss him all over. She then moved away and smiled at him before carressing his cheek gently. "Our little boy is growing up, Logan." Kara laughed softly as the tears fell from her eyes as she looked at him. With her free hand she grabbed Logan's hand while the other held on to James' little hand. She had never felt more happier, it was enough to make her forget what this time of year was like last year. All she was thinking now was how great of a birthday he was going to have, and how she had her favourite men right by her side.

"I love you Logan.." She whispered out as kissed him.

Though, while his parents looked at each other and kissed, James had heard something which quickly made him to look towards the door. The person he saw made he coo as he laughed and smiled. It was somebody he knew well, but he hadn't seen her in a while, but he somehow was still able to tell who it was. He watched how the woman looked straight at him before immediately looking up at his parents in a bit of shock. While James just kept cooing and laughing.
