After a Loss

Chloe carried Lorna to her room and gently laid her down on her bed, she bit her lip she figured it would be better for her to stay so she wouldn't freak out. She couldn't imagine how the girl must feel after having seen her boyfriend die in front of her, she hoped Bruce was doing all right but she doubted it.

Lorna laid on the bed, staying asleep.

The whole scene flashed in her head in her sleep..

She suddenly woke up, sitting up fast, "Jason!" She screamed..before she realized she wasn't where she was before. Her eyes stared at the wall, "It..It wasn't real..right?"

Chloe bit her lip and headed to her side, "Lorna....take deep breaths ok?" She asked as she held her by her shoulders, she wasn't sure how to reply to her question. "Look Lorna.....it was real." She said quietly.

Lorna sat there as her eyes softened..The tears heading down her face, "Why..why did she..why did they do that.." She said as she hugged herself. Her hair falling in front of her face.

Chloe gingerly sat down on the bed before she looked down, "Because she was a cruel person and she enjoys causing pain." She said quietly. "Lorna I want you to listen to me though....this wasn't your fault and I know that Jason wouldn't want you to think that." She said quietly

Lorna looked at her, nodding as she just broke down, "He didn't deserve that.."

Chloe pulled her into a hug, "No one deserves that, he seemed like a nice person." She said sadly
