Not leaving you alone to be scared...

Logan stood outside of Kitty's room, waiting for Kara. He listened close to the exchange between the too. When Ororo walked by with a nod, he gave a nod back, with no real expression on his face.

Kara came out and gave him a kiss on the cheek, mentioning her going to take a shower and meeting him back in his room. He gave her a nod, before heading to his room.

He took of his costume and threw it in the clothes hamper. He turned the shower on and stepped into it.

He thought about all that Kara told Kitty. Her waking up in an unfamiliar place, with no real memory of what had happened before...

He could relate to that. Though from the way it sounded, she had all of her memories back, while Logan's memory hasn't fully returned yet...

Kara not being able to control her powers completely, being kidnapped by Darkseid, then brainwashed...

Logan growled a bit at the thought of Kara being controlled.

He took a deep breath, before turning off the water. He got out and dried off with a towel. He slipped on a pair of boxers and a pair of black pants to sleep in.

He didn't bother to put a shirt on, because he never slept with one on anyways. He opened his door and raised his eyebrows at the sight of Kara sitting on her bed, hugging herself, with a look of deep thought on her face.

He walked across the hall into her room and leaned against the frame. He waited a moment, watching her, before knocking against the frame, lightly. "Knock, knock."

Kara had jumped out of her thoughts, looking straight up to Logan as she heard his voice. She smiled, "Hey." Though she realized he didn't have a shirt on, making her look at his upper area. Though she looked back up to his face when she realized she started to stare. She stood up, kinda making it more revealing she was wearing a tank top. Kara crossed her arms, "Sorry, I was just thinking of what I talked about with Kitty." She smiled softly at him.

"That's a lot to think about." Logan said, as he walked over and put his arms around her.

"I haven't really told you about my past." He stated, after holding her for a moment.

"Come on, let's take this conversation to my room." He said, before leading her into his room. He shut the door behind them.

Kara put her hand on his chest, letting her head against his chest. Her eyes looked at him, nodding at him, "Okay." She smiled, loving how she wasn't going to be separated from him. When they enter his room, she sat with him on the bed, looking up at him.

"As you know, I've fought in in World War One and World War Two..." He started, looking out the window. "But, even though I've lived for so long... most of the memories that I remember before three years ago are buried." He said, getting up from the bed and walking over to the window.

He leaned on his arm against the window frame. "Three years ago was when I got my Adamantium skeleton, with claws included..." He said, stopping himself from extending his claws. He wasn't in the mood to have to go through his neck getting shocked.

"Overseer... He was the one who did it to me. He suppressed my memories and tried to make me into a weapon." Logan said, with a slight growl in his voice.

"I woke up in a tank and escaped... not knowing who I was or what was going on... Or why I had metal claws sticking out of my hands." He said, staring intently out the window, lost in memory.

"I met Charles Xavier a year later, who helped me out. He's been helping me regain my memories with his psychic power. All he asked in exchange was to help teach the runts how to control, defend, and fight." He said, before looking back over at her.

"I've been through what you had been through when you first landed on Earth." He stated, watching her.

Kara listened to him speak, having her eyes widened as he continued to talk about his past. When he mentioned about his skeleton and his claws, she got up slowly. Walking to him, though she stopped and shuddered when he talked about Overseer. Her eyes seemed to widened more, walking slowly towards him again as he continued to speak. When he got lost in the memory, she stopped right in front of him. Listening to him even more. She had no idea what to say, listening to him speak about Charles. She kinda smiled when he told her he had to teach, though when he looked at her and said he knew what she went through. She got closer, putting a hand on his shoulder as she looked up at him. Kara had no idea on what to say, "Oh, Logan..I..I-I don't know what to say..I'm..I'm sorry.."

Logan looked away from her when she said she was sorry. "Don't. I don't need the pity." He said, his expression turning into a hard one. "You don't have to say anything. I didn't tell you this because I wanted you to pity me." He stated, before looking back at her.

"I told you this, because I care about you and you deserve to know that someone is near that has been in a situation similar to yours." He stated. He placed his hand over her hand that was on his shoulder.

Kara looked at him, getting worried when his expression turned hard. Though when he looked back at her, she nodded. Though her eyes widened as he told her he cared for her, making her smile softly. Her eyes stared into his, putting her other hand on his cheek, "I'm glad I know someone has been in a similar situation as me...And Logan..I care for you to." Her eyes stared into his, letting her thumb rub his cheek a little.

Logan took her hand that was on his cheek in his and kissed her palm. He stared at her with his deep blue eyes for a moment.

"Well, after that bedtime story, you ready for bed?" He asked, letting go of her hand that he kissed the palm of.

Kara smiled, not letting her gaze move. Though when he asked her if she wanted to go to bed, she shook her head softly, "Hang on, Wolf.." She slowly went on her tiptoes, kissing him softly as her cheeks turned pink.

Logan's lips twitched a little, wanting to smirk, as her lips touched his softly. He wrapped an arm loosely around her, as he kissed her softly back.

The hand that was still on hers, moved up to her arm. He lightly stroke her arm with his thumb, feeling better kissing her then when he wasn't.

Her arms were around his neck gently, loving the way he held her as he kissed her back. Her eyes were closed, letting her cheeks turn pinker. She loved being with him, and him telling her that he cared for her and she cared for him..Made her horrible day..Into a wonderful night..

She was going to try to protect her and him to the best she could..

Logan pulled back gently and kissed her forehead. He let his lips graze her skin a little longer, enjoying the feel of his lips on her skin.

He leaned his forehead against hers, his eyes still closed. It had only been a few days, but she had made his days less... lonely.

Her eyes stayed closed, letting her hands go to his chest. When their foreheads met, she smiled as her breath was calm and soothing. As if he had took out all the worries in her. Her hands rubbed his chest softly. Her eyes opened as she looked at him, smiling at him..As if she was saying thank you for everything..

He opened his eyes to see her smiling at him, which caused him to smile softly back.

He kissed her forehead again, before pulling back, but still holding her.

"So, you want to stand here all night or do you want to lay in bed?" He asked, his voice a soft, not wanting to break the calming mood.

Kara smiled fully at him, feeling him pull back. Her head went to his chest, feeling he was still holding her. She laughed when he asked her his question, "I think I rather lay in bed..Don't want to fall asleep, standing up." She laughed softly, looking up at him.

Logan smirked down at her. "All right." He said, before picking her up. "I think you've been reacquainted with your legs long enough for today." He said, carrying her over to the bed. He set her on the bed, placed the covers on her, before laying on top of the covers.

He smiled a little at her, seeing her in his bed. She looked so cute and beautiful in the moonlight from the window...

Kara laughed at his little joke, squealing softly as he picked her up. When he set on her his bed, and placed the covers on her. She looked up at him, smiling at him as she was snuggled underneath the covers. Her eyes stared into his deep blue eyes. She slowly brought her hand to his nose, tapping it softly, "You sure you don't want any covers, Wolf?"

He smirked as she tapped his nose. "I'm fine without them." He said, laying back on the bed, hands under his head.

After a moment, he slipped his arm next to her, under her, to pull her close to his chest.

"'Night, Fly girl." He said, kissing the top of her head.

Kara smirked, letting the smirk turn into a smile, "Okay." When he slipped his arm underneath her, she smiled. Snuggling against his chest when he brought her closer. Her eyes closed as she smiled, "Night, Wolf.." She softly kissed him on the cheek, putting her head against his chest once again. Kara slowly fell into a deep sleep, the moment Logan knew was when her breathing slowed and she was very calm..With a smile on her face..

He was her protector.. And she was his..

Logan smiled at her sleeping form. He gave her head another soft kiss. He breathed in her scent, immediately feeling calmer.

Before he fell asleep, he vowed in his mind to always protect her...

And when the time came for them to return to their universes...

He wasn't giving up without a fight.

(ooc: Oooh that last part sounded like an epic, menacing cliffhanger! And Logan probably won't be too thrilled to hear how they can return to their universes.)

OOC: I was cursory reading this, and I was like "yes!!!! sex!!!!" And started reading for real and was like "NOOOOOO!!!!" But very cute ^^
