Your leaving me too?

Laura was in the training ground, looking around for Julian. She grabbed her hands..

Please show up..somewhere.. She thought to herself. Not wanting to loose him as well.

She gently deposited him on the ground a few feet away from x23 and turned herself invisible from their eyes.

Julian felt his feet touch the ground, emotions removed from his face. He needed to do this to save Laura, "Laura." he said shortly.

Laura saw Julian, running to immediately, "W-Where were you? I..I thought you left for good..I.."

"Laura"

Her body froze, "What?"

"Things are going to be different from now on..." He said slowly, this conversation being a repeat from the one from two years ago.

Laura narrowed her eyes in confusion, "What are you talking about?" She asked, before she saw his collar, her eyes widened, "N-No..No! Please tell me I'm just seeing a delusion, PLEASE!"

"Good bye." He turned and took a step away from Laura, his heart shattering.

Her eyes widened more, feeling the tears start to sting her eyes, "N-No! NO!" She grabbed his shoulders, "No! No! I already lost someone I cared about..I-I can't loose you too, no Julian...PLEASE NO! PLEASE!" She shrieked, "PLEASE!" Laura said, before the tears fell and she was starting to break down, "PLEASE JULIAN DON'T LEAVE ME!"

"Laura, I'm leaving... let me go." He said slowly, "Let. Me. Go." He said said in a monotone voice.

Laura held on tighter, "NO, I WILL NOT LET GO! I WILL NOT! I REFUSE TO LOOSE YOU TOO, I REFUSE TO BE ALONE AGAIN! I REFUSE TO LOOSE YOU, I WON'T!!" She yelled, breaking down as she did, "I will not!"

Julian turned to Laura, his eyes dulled but red tinted unlike their normal green, "Laura, we have nothing. We will never have nothing. You said these words yourself... You're a heartless machine built to kill... built to hurt... built to live." Julian turned from her taking a step forward. He wanted to tell her, but he didn't know it he could. This would be easier, for both of them.

"Laura, we have nothing. We will never have nothing. You said these words yourself... You're a heartless machine built to kill... built to hurt... built to live."

"You're a heartless machine built to kill."

Laura's eyes widened more, feeling her grip loosen. The tears ran down from her cheeks, her body was numb, "B-But..I..I..I love..I love you..I..I didn't mean..I.." Her voice was shaky, and her heart was breaking. She could feel the coldness enter her body..

"Built to hurt.."

"J-Julian I know you don't mean these words..I know that there is something making you say these things." She said, smiling as she gripped his shirt again, looking up at him, "Right?"

Julian shut his eyes, refusing to look at her. He needed to end this for the both of us. His heart... ached with every words, "You're a monster... you kill everything, including me. I'm dead to you. Dead. I've been dead for... two years. I was killed in Paris. I'm just a ghost. Everything you've felt. Everything you hear. Everything you see? I'm a hallucination. You tripped out on the herb, and slaughtered me. No one knew. No one cared. You hallucinated everything... I'm just a dream, nothing." 'Jean you can here me, after she speaks make me fade. Make this believable. Please...'

Laura looked at him, shaking her head, the tears falling from her cheeks, "No..if you were a hallucination..I would know..I'm not insane.." She said, "Julian please..please don't do this..please." She begged, gripping his shirt as she felt her whole body tremble, "I can't lose you.."

Dark Phoenix closed her eyes and allowed Julian's body to slowly disappear, until he was completely gone from x23's sight. She the Phoenix could still see him and she approached him, "You have done the right thing Julian even if it doesn't seem like it." She said.

"Let's just go." He growled out, angry and hurt crawling through every word.

Laura watched his disappear from her sight, her eyes widening as she fell to her knees..Her heart shattered, her body became limp, her whole body was numb..Her green eyes were now dark, and filled with tears. It took her a while before her face deformed into sadness, breaking down as she screamed in agony.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!"

She screamed over and over, before she couldn't scream and fell to the ground crying.

She was all alone again..

Dark Phoenix nodded and then when x23 started screaming she glanced over at her crouched form, "So be it." She said and took off with him.

Julian stayed silent, he couldn't believe how he was breaking her, "Was it this easy to give Cyclops away to Emma?" he said wish-fully. Hoping he wasn't truly alone.
