Reunion with an old Lover

Chloe decided to take a walk as she was thinking about her relationship with Bruce, she liked him....well if she were honest with herself she more then liked him. She rubbed her forehead, darn it, why is it that I can't keep my mind off of him? She wondered. Her eyes widened when she saw a familiar figure ahead of her, "Oliver?" She asked in shock.

He was in the park because Shay. Need to do her thing. He turned around when he heard his name. His face filled of thoughts lost up in a second when he saw the person who called him. He walked towards her. A smile on his face while he spoke. “Chloe!”

She wanted to run forward but she wasn't sure how he would react, her eyes landed on the dog that he was walking and she smiled. "I didn't know you liked pets." She said with a smile. She wondered if he remembered their past fling with any sort of fondness or if he had just used her to get a lay.

He saw her hesitation. His thought were filled with their Fling. And yes that was a Fling with capital F. When he was close in enough to her, he lifted her up and twirled her around. “Long time no seen, Watchtower.” He put her down, giving her some space. “Well, Buddy is special.” He said with a bright smile. He saw Shay give him a look. Buddy?!

She giggled when he twirled her around and then looked down at the dog, "So Buddy huh? How have you been?" She asked as she smiled up at him.

He lifted his hands. “As good as possible in this world.” He lowered his hands. His happy thoughts were placed with a little panic. Did she know what he did? His smile didn’t leave his face, neither his happiness in his eyes. “How are you doing so far? And when did you come here?”

She smiled and then met his eyes again, "I'm doing pretty good, I just got here a few days ago." She admitted with a sad smile. "I haven't seen you at the Mansion, is there a reason why?" She asked

He watch her give her sad smile. She was stronger than before. And she didn’t lose her smartness. He laughed. “Your still as smart as ever, Chloe. I don’t live in the mansion.” He said it as matter of fact.

Chloe bit her lip, "Then where do you live?" She asked with concern as she studied him.

He saw her studie him. He just gaved her a reassuring smile. “I live with my girlfriend.” His smile turned in a bright one. Only one thought could make him stop worrying. “Who did you all meet already?”

Her eyes widened when she heard he had a girlfriend, "Oh wow, you have a girlfriend? She's a lucky girl and I've met Clark, Bruce and Quicksilver." She said with a laugh.

He smirked at her words. “Is it so surprising that I have a girlfriend?” "She's a lucky girl and I've met Clark, Bruce and Quicksilver." “Only boys?? Did all the woman leave? Or did you scare them.” He asked teasingly.

She glared at him and lightly slapped him on the arm, "Its just because of my amazingly good looks.' She said with a laugh. "I'm happy for you though.' She said sincerely.

A soft smile came on his face. “Thanks Chloe. That means a lot.” It meant a lot. Because she was the first to said that to him. His smiled faded when he thought of a certain bat. “How is Bruce holding up?”

She blushed at Bruce's name and then met Oliver's eyes, "He's fine as far as I know except for that weird encounter with some Nightmare guy, why?" She asked curiously.

He noticed the blush. “With the Joker and Scarecrow.” He doubted that Bruce would be happy if he told her. “But scarecrow helped him in the end.” He leaned a little bit in. Not too much just to give her the feeling he was teasing her. “Do you want to tell me anything else that concerns Bruce?” A teasing smile came in a Flash. “Blush?”

Chloe glared at him, "Its nothing." She said firmly, she hated seeing that smirk he wore it reminded her of times when they would tumble into the nearest bed. She flushed, but this time for another different reason entirely "Do you ever miss it?" She blurted and then inwardly grimaced how had that come out? she wondered.

He raised a eyebrow. “Do you mean what we had?” He thought about it. When he thought about what they had, he remembered days of happiness and fun. His mind brought him slowly back to the present. A glint of sadness came in his eyes. He looked up, to the sky. “Yes. But times flies faster than a human can react.” He looked back at when the glint was gone. “I can honestly say that Bruce is far more better than I. In mostly everything.” He winked at her.

She smiled sadly, "It was fun being with you, I wish you all the happiness in the world.' She said and bit her lip as he brought up Bruce. That's if the guy ever makes a move she thought angrily.

“I also wish you the same and everything that you think you don’t need.” He gave her a smile. But stopped when he saw a glint of anger or annoys in her eyes. Did he do anything wrong. But then it hit him. He smirked. “He is the type of guy who hides his feelings.” He winked at her. “Just kick it out of him.”

She laughed, "I think sometimes the only way he'll ever get a clue is if I march down to the lab and plant one on him, but that would be awkward." She said with a laugh and a blush.

He laughed at her words. “Well maybe you should do that.” He was happy Chloe fell in love with Bruce. He is a good guy and he won’t hurt her. Neither would he be afraid to start something.

Chloe smiled, "Yeah maybe I should, so tell me more about Buddy." She said as she stared down at the dog

He followed her eyes to Shayera. Damm. I forgot about her. “Buddy came to me in a fight. Flash between Music Meister. She has been helping me ever since then.” His eyes became softer. “She is a great companion and a dear friend.”
