Alone once again..

Laura sat on her bed, hugging her knees close to her. Her eyes were once again, red and puffy. She had been crying for hours now, and the tears finally couldn't form and fall. Her mask was back on, being alone now was her deepest fear that came true. She sat there, staring at her knees, her whole body had erased her emotions..

As Pietro walked by Laura's room he pecked inside. After what happened to her boyfriend last month he checked on her every once in a while.


Now she was just staring at her knees.


"Laura?" Pietro opened the door and walked in, he closed the door behind him, so she could have her privacy. "X what's wrong?" Pietro knelt in front of her on the bed.

Laura didn't look up at him, being quiet before he asked her what's wrong. She told him what happened with Julian, the tears finally came back as they fell from her cheeks, "I'm just meant to be alone.." She whispered, before she buried her head in her knees.

Pietro pulled Laura's knees away from her chest and put her feet on the floor as she spoke. He folded his arms over her legs as she finished her story.


"I can't pretend to know what was going though Julian's mind when he did that, but you are out of your mind if you think that you are meant to be alone. You are smart, powerful, and beautiful. Any man with even half a brain would want to be with you. And what every was going though that guys head, there is no way he does not regret walking away from you every second of the rest of his life. One day he is going to come to you on bended knee thinking he has a good excuse for what he put you through and you are going to be able to take him or leave him as you will." Pietro smile reassuringly up at her. "You are without a doubt one of the best catches on this planet." He said earnestly.

Laura looked at him before she moved away from him, turning herself around as she hugged her knees again. Her head buried itself in her knees, "I'm just a monster..a weapon..someone built to kill..to hurt..to not have feelings." She whispered, before she laid down now, her back facing him as she covered her face from him.

Pietro sighed and got on the bed, pulling her close to him. "You are not a monster Laura. Sabertooth is a monster, Joker is a monster, you are no monster. And you may have been designed to be a weapon but this is your life, you can be what ever you want. And we are all capable of killing, and hurting those we love, we can't change the fact that we make mistakes. And as for no feelings. Just the fact that you are crying right now shows what utter bullshit that is." Pietro petted her hair trying to sooth her.

Laura froze when he pulled her close to him. She didn't look at him, she just kept staring at the wall. She buried her face in the pillow. Laura didn't respond to him as she buried her face in the pillow, crying into it as her shoulders bounced a little when she did.

Pietro stroked her hair down her back and rubbed her back in a soothing and circular motions.

"You know what you need to relax more." Pietro laid her body out flat and straddled he butt. He then pressed both hands into her shoulders and stroked the juncture were her neck and back met with his thumbs. He moved expertly down her spine and sides and then back up. Pietro, while good with words was far better with actions. He couldn't find the word to get Laura to believe him, that she was not meant to be alone, so he would try to show her with actions that she was cared for and desired and she was capable of having what she wanted.

"I'm Wolverine's clone." She said suddenly, lifting her hand when he went to her lower back. She let her claws come out, "Though, I don't have three claws, I have two..And I have one claw in my foot.." Laura explained, before she let her claws go in. Pietro was shocked for a moment. "Well that does explain those odd shapes I felt in your hands earlier. Though I did not know Wolverine would make such a hot girl." Pietro joked.

He then went back down to her lower back again, having noticed that she had reacted when he pressed there. He put a lot more pressure there hopping to get her back to loosen up.

He then went to her other foot and gave it and her leg the same treatment as he did her other leg and foot.

Laura turned around when he started to massage her legs and feet. She looked down at her hands, not knowing what to say or do. She felt lost an helpless, and she didn't feel as happy as she was the day before. Her eyes softened, "Why is it..every time I start to care for someone..they either die..or disappear.." Laura whispered softly.
