Lost along the way..

Laura walked back into her new room. She closed the door behind her, feeling herself burst into tears once again. She slid down the wall, crying hard as she covered her eyes.

She was all alone once again..

She opened her eyes, gasping to breathe, even though she wanted to stop..Even though she wanted the world to end. She covered her eyes again, falling onto her side. Laura wanted to scream, she wanted to scream for Adam to come back..

But, she was screaming in her head.

"Come back to me..Come back.." She whimpered, laying there on the floor, having her shoulders bounce as she cried..

Laura got up, going back into the numb stage of the depression. She walked slowly to the bathroom, she stared at herself in the mirror..

Why live..when your going to be alone..and not have your one true love..

She let her claws come out, turning on the sink water. She started to cut herself once again, not wincing due to she wasn't feeling the pain. The cuts were deep, deeper then the last ones. Laura felt her vision get blurry as she started cut her wrist/arm. She kept cutting, wanting her healing to stop, wanting it to kill her.

She hadn't seen Laura in a while, and was feeling kind of worried. She walked to Meisters former room, not bothering to knock on the door. The room was empty, but she peeked in the bathroom. She saw Laura cutting her arms. The wounds were healing as she was cutting a new one. Amanda leaned on the doorway. "That doesn't seem to work hun."

Laura jumped, looking at Amanda, "It will work..It will..I did it once before..IT WILL WORK!" She screamed through her tears, letting the blade puncture deep into her skin, "I don't want to be alone..not again.."

She turned her attention to the cuts. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but it doesn't. You are stuck here with us for now hun."

Laura ignored her, watching her cuts stop healing slower and slower. She kept cutting until they weren't healing the right way. She went to do some more.

She looked her cut her arms. "Do you think he would want you to do that?" She asked holding her arms crossed over her chest.

Laura suddenly stopped, looking down at the blood.

Amanda straightened up and walked to Laura. She wrapped her arms around the girl. "I didn't think so."

"I..I just don't want to be alone again.." She whimpered out..

Amanda hugged the girl. "You have us around, you are not alone."

Laura just fell to her knees, "Why did it have to be him..why the one person who cared to see through my mask..Why.." She asked, feeling herself break down, "He meant so much me to me.."

Amanda knelt down next to Laura and put her hand on the girls shoulder. "The world isn't fair Laura. I know you loved him, but think of it this way. Canary would have lost her husband and her child it's father. Though that is not much of a consolation."

Laura felt suddenly pissed, "Get out." She said.

She frowned. "What did I say?" She looked at her confused.

"Flash wasn't the father..Now, get out..don't you dare console that bastard..Get out." She said in the coldest tone.

She frowned. "He isn't.... but then wh-...... Oh!!!" She said as she suddenly realised. "I'm sorry I didn't know. In that case I won't defend Flash anymore." She said getting up, and heading to the door. "You know you can still count on me right?" She said turning around to face her one last time.

Laura didn't look at her, moving her head, which told her everything..

She would think about it..

She nodded to Laura and left the room. "Oh Hera, this female stuff is difficult." She groaned to herself as she made her way to her room.

Laura looked down at her wrists, remembering when Adam caught her the first time. The tears ran down her cheeks, taking off her clothes as she close the bathroom door. She walked to the tub, putting on the water. When it was right where she wanted it, she stopped it, before going in it. Her eyes looked at the other side of the tub, suddenly seeing Adam flash there. Her eyes widened, before she covered her face, crying once again. She sunk into the water, trying to stop all the memories from entering her head.
