Back Again....at 12:00 A.M.

Kara jumped, looking up as Wolverine ripped the door of it's hinges. When he grabbed The Overseer, she rolled on her side, positioning herself where he wasn't able to grab onto her to stop Wolverine from throwing him into the wall. When Wolverine stood in front of her, she looked for her pants, grabbing them as she found them and put them back on. Though her panties her ripped on the floor, and she was holding her top closed. She was trembling, watching the both of them as she was against the wall. While her side wound was hurting horribly. Kara wanted to pass out, wanted to escape the scene, but she had to be strong.

The Overseer was just about to climax, when he was thrown off, he groaned and heard an unmistakable snikt. He glanced up at the Wolverine and smirked, "Well, well well if it isn't Mr. Clawsy himself. Pity you interrupted me, I was just about to...fully enjoy myself." he said and straightened, while subtly putting his now limp dick back.

"You." Wolverine growled out. "I'll rip you to shreds!" He growled, running at him, claws itching for his blood.

"And I'll cut off that damn dick of yours and burn it!!!!" He growled, slashing at him.

The Overseer dodged back, "Now now, you really don't want to do that....otherwise who knows what might happen with your dear Kitty, she has filled out in some areas if you know what I mean." he said and smirked.

Wolverine's growl got darker. "STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HER AND EVERY FEMALE IN THIS HOUSE!!!" He shouted, slashing as the Overseer dodged.

Turned out, he was a bit too slow and cocky, because when Wolverine slashed, he managed to slice off four of his fingers on his left hand, only leaving the Overseer with a thumb.

The Overseer shouted in pain and then used his other hand to knock the Wolverine back, he cradled his hand to his chest and glared angrily at him. "MARK MY WORDS WOLVERINE, THE NEXT TIME I STRIKE I WILL FINISH THE JOB!" He shouted and then raced for the window where he flew out, fighting back the pain.

Kara had watched the whole thing in shock. When she saw Wolverine cut of Overseer's fingers, she was happy but she was afraid as he started to flee. Though he ran out of the window. Her eyes went straight to Wolverine, grabbing her shirt, keeping it closed even more. Though the tears started to flow down her cheeks as she went forward, crying hard. Her whole body was trembling and it was noticeable she was scared.

Wolverine growled at the window for a few more minutes, breathing hard. He stood up straight as he retracted his claws, the growl in his throat, turning into a quieter one. He slightly winced at the pain of his neck as his mutant powers healed his knuckles. He ignored the pain as his power tried over and over again to heal his neck.

He'll just have to go to the Danger Room later...

He turned to Kara and his gaze softened some. He walked over to the bed and sat on the side cautiously.

He gently picked her up in his arms and held her as she cried. "Shh, he's gone now. It's gonna be okay..." He whispered, soothingly in her ear and he stroked her head.

Kara buried her face immediately into his chest as he held her. Her cries were probably painful to hear. And she heard his sweet words, but she couldn't stop crying. How she had almost her virginity, how she almost got raped..Her arms around him suddenly, "Don't leave me..." She said through the tears.

Logan had to resist the urge to growl at "Overseer" and for what he had almost done to Kara. He hated her crying, he wanted to get rid of her pains and fears. "I won't..." He said, vowing silently to get that damn scientist back for what he had done. "I'm not going anywhere." Not again... He added the last part silently to himself.

He held her a bit tighter, while rubbing her back, doing what he could to help comfort her.

Kara slowly stopped crying, slowly moving her head from his chest. Though she didn't look up. It was like she was ashamed to look up, but she wasn't. It was the after effect of crying in front of someone. There was still some tears that fell down, but she didn't look up to show Wolverine..Her eyes stayed staring as his chest. Her hands rested on his chest as she stopped hugging him. And she was getting tired.

Logan held her for a moment longer, before remembering that her top had been destroyed. "Hang on, Kara." He said, letting go of her for a minute to take off his shirt.

"Put this on," He said. Once it was off, without looking down at her chest, he practically put the shirt on her himself, slipping her head through the collar of the shirt.

"Better?" He asked, looking at her to see only her head popping out of his shirt.

Kara had stared at his chest, helping only a little to put his shirt on her. She lifted her head up, looking up at him. The first time she had looked at him after crying. She nodded, "Thank you.." Her voice was weak, and her eyes were a little puffy. Her bangs fell in the middle of her eyes. Kara grabbed the shirt, showing she was comfortable. Her eyes didn't leave him until she looked down, "Thank you.." She whispered, making it clear she was saying thank you for him saving her.

"Hey," He said, placing his hand on her chin and tilting her head up to look at him. "I told you, we gotta stick together." He said, holding her chin for a moment longer before letting it go.

"Whether you like it or not, fly girl, I'm staying with you until you get better." He said, moving to the chair beside her bed and reclining in it. "I ain't leaving your side again, not with you injured like that." He stated, crossing his arms over his bare-chest.

Her eyes looked straight up as his, listening to his comforting words. She then watched him sit on the chair, blushing only a little bit as he called her fly girl and how he wasn't going to leave her side. She nodded, snuggling into his shirt more. It was clear she was happy to be out of her pajama top.

Logan smirked softly as he watched her. She looked really small in his shirt, but very appealing and cute.

He had a little feeling that he wouldn't be getting that shirt back.

He got up and closed the window that the "Overseer" flew out of. Where the hell did he get those powers? He thought, as he locked the window and set a code on it.

He walked back over to his chair and sat down.

Kara watched him close the window. When she watched him sit down, she didn't know what to do. A little pouty face showed on her face, "I'm not tired now.." It was clear she was trying make a joke, crossing her arms.

He raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh really?" He said, leaning back in the chair, crossing his arms over his bare-chest again.

"What do you suppose we do then?" He asked, partially surprised that she wasn't tired anymore, but at the same time, it made sense why she wasn't tired.

She nodded, wondering what to do, "I don't know." Suddenly a scene from what happened appeared in her head. She had jumped, showing something horrible came to her mind. Her eyes were a tad bit wide, shaking her head as she tried to get the images out of her head. Her eyes opened, looking at the bed..It was going to take her while before she unaffected by it.

"Kara?" Logan asked, after she jumped. He leaned toward the bed. "You all right?" He asked, placing his hand on hers for comfort.

Kara looked at him, feeling his hand on top of hers. She shook her head, "I won't be able to get those images out of my head...I won't forget anything.." Her eyes slowly started to look back down at the bed, letting her head follow.

Logan sighed through his nose. He looked down for a moment before an idea came to him. He looked back up at Kara with a smirk.

"Want to go for a drive?"

She looked up at him, "At this time of night?" She then thought about it, it would be great to get out of this room, "I'd like that." Kara's mouth suddenly formed a soft smile.

Logan's smirk grew. He jerked his head in the direction of the door. "Come on, get dressed." He said, gently tugging her out of the bed.

He handed her the clothes that Kitty and Flash had picked up for her when they got her pajamas.
