It was wet. Really freaking wet. Dick sometimes pondered how Bruce could stand to balance his head with his cowl, but now he understood. He wore it, out of respect. Batman was a symbol and Bruce's disappearance meant that Gotham's criminals weren't as scared of the night with the mysterious absence of Batman. So, Dick became Batman, no one seemed to fuss except for Jason. Jason had tried so hard, but he obviously isn't cut out for it. He disappeared too like Artemis, Diana, Roy, everyone he knew was just dropping like flies off the face of the Earth. Dick moved his head to see Robin 5, Damian Wayne, running towards something. He quickly caught up to the kid, being torn out of his inner rambling, "Report, Robin." he said moving towards the kid.
Damian turned looking at a box, more like a gift looking box. It was covered in black with a yellow bow, almost screaming its place was with Batman. Damian knelt down, investigating the box, skillfully. Something his mother must have taught him, he knew Bruce didn't teach him that. He rolled his eyes thinking about the woman. Before noticing a glint from the box. He grabbed Damian's shoulders, throwing the kid out of the way. A spinning silver thing flew out of the box attaching itself to his neck, "R--!" Dick tried to get Damian out of there, Bruce would kill him if Damian was hurt because of his carelessness... if Bruce ever came back. He felt this large shock from the collar before seeing the world go black with Damian's feet making splashing noises. Barbara screamed in his ears via the comms, but it was too late. He was gone to the world.
