Wondering Souls

Kitty frowned, "If I try the collar would shock me, the only times they go off is in the danger room and the arena for matches." She said quietly, it made her wonder why she hadn't been in a match yet.

"I see, have you been in one yet?" He asked, full of sudden questions.

Kitty shook her head, "No which is really weird, but I have seen a lot of them." She said quietly.

"Anyone we know?" He asked, hoping a no for one as well.

Kitty bit her lip as she thought about it, "Actually no." She said after a beat.

Scott sighed out in relief, at least he knew they were doing fine in this universe. "I'm somewhat tempted to go find the others here." He stated lightly, mostly almost positive he only really wanted to search out Jean.

Kitty nodded, "Well if you do, just don't attack anyone like Wade I mean Deadpool." She said with a light blush as she thought about her boyfriend.

Scott stood up, stretching lightly, "Do I need to play protective father figure to... Wade?" He said with a hint of amusement in his voice, glad Kitty finally found someone.

Kitty gave him a mock glare, "Well if you do just know that he...helped me during a bad time while I was here." She said eventually.

Scott looked at her suddenly kneeling down and looking at her, "Is it something we need to talk about?" he was concerned for the girl.

Kitty met his eyes and sighed, "Lance raped me.....and I got pregnant but I lost the baby, and um Wade was there for me the whole time." She said quietly.

Scott moved his hand to hers, giving it a squeeze, "I'm sorry that happened, but I'm... I'm glad you found someone there for you while it happened."

She nodded and then looked up at him, "Its been really interesting that's for sure." She said with a weak laugh before she cleared her throat. "So, I hope you find everyone you need too." She said lightly.

"Thanks, but if you ever need anyone just hunt me down. You know my usual haunts." He said with a lightly chuckle pushing himself to a standing position. He pushed his sunglasses up the bridge of his nose before waving and walking off.

Kitty watched him go and sighed as Shadow barked after him, "Its ok hun, we'll find someone else to bother." She said teasingly before she got up to continue taking Shadow out.
