Gone Without A Trace

Scarecrow had seen a blond haired woman getting Bruce highly talkative and laughing. That in itself meant she was something to him. He waited for her in the hallway behind the corner... then he'd take her and leave a note to go to his Lab if he wanted to see her again.

When Chloe left she giggled, I can't believe I just kissed him on the cheek she thought rather giddily, she never saw the masked person sneak up behind her....

"Boo." He said behind her before covering her face with a cloth infused with his infamous fear gas and chloroform. She'd be knocked out and have horrible nightmares. He cackled internally, 'If only you could see me now... would you think I'm still a good guy, Brenna?' When she slumped on to his body he took the note from his pocket, laying it where only Bruce would find it. He'd have his perfect woman once more and forever this time. He wouldn't foolishly give her Bruce's body back. He picked up Chloe, throwing her over his shoulder before running away. He made sure no one saw her.

She barely had time to register that some hooded man was behind her, she struggled when he clamped the cloth over her mouth. She could see stars and then she passed out, welcoming the nightmares.....she could see her mother in a asylum beckoning her to come forward. Next she saw Clark being killed by Doomsday......

Bruce walked out of his lab, locking the door. He turned and started walking when he heard paper crunching on the ground. He moved his foot looking at the paper. He knelt down and grabbed the paper. His eyes scanning the paper. He quickly put the paper into his pocket running to the Brotherhood mansion. He needed to get there quickly.
