How did you find me?

Laura was laying on the bench, sleeping as Allard guarded her.

He went to the park. He had found her there so many times before, so why not now. He looked around almost passing her by, not regocnising her covered by her jacket. He noticed the dog and carefully aproached. The dog growled at him as he shook her awake. "Laura?"

Allard growled at the man, before getting up on all fours, growling. He took a step forward towards Adam, snapping at him, making him back up.

Laura jumped, hearing the snarl and the snap. She got up, "What is it Allard?" She asked, before she looked up, freezing when she saw Adam..

Adam

Laura looked at Allard, "Allard sit..it's okay.." She stayed stared at Adam, while Allard laid back on all fours, "H-How did you find me?"

He kept his distance to the dog, and smiled at her. "Call it instinct. How are you? Have you been living on the streets?"

Allard saw the man was no harmed, so went underneath the bench, letting the man be near Laura.

Laura's green eyes were staring at him, before looking away, "Yeah.."

He walked closer to her taking off his coat and putting it on her shoulders. "You shouldn't do that, you'll get a cold." He looked at the dog. "I see you have made a new friend."

"I'm fine though.." She said, before her eyes went to Allard, "I saved him from being killed." She said, "Allard." Laura said his name, hoping he would come out from under the bench.

Allard heard his name, getting out of the bench, walking to Laura as he put his two front legs on his lap. He wagged his tail at her, wagging it faster when she started to pet him.

He took a step away from her. "Why haven't you come back to the brotherhood? I would have given you space, if that was what you wanted."

Laura looked at him, "He isn't going to snap at you again, I told him it's okay." She said, before she looked down, "I had to be away from people.."

He smiled. "I'm not backing away because of him, I thought you wanted space." There was silence for some time. "So have you been able to think?" He walked to sit down on the bench.

Laura looked at him, looking at him more when he sat down by her. She looked down at Allard, "Yeah.."

He took a gentle expreccion on his face. "You want to share?" He put his hand on hers, wanting to convey he cared for her.

Laura looked at him, before she looked back down, thinking. She then leaned to his ear, whispering something.

His eye widened, and he looked at her. She looked down, as if in shame. He just smiled at her and stood up. He offered her his hand. "Come on lets go home." They walked away in silence.

Laura looked up at him, taking his hand.
