The battle that will rip the heroes apart.

He woke up. His bow and arrows weren’t lying far from him. He stood up, picking his weapons up. He looked around. People were screaming. He saw heroes and villains. People he cared about and people he wanted to kill. He also saw Shayera.

A voice filled the area. “Ladies and gentleman. In one corner the hero Hawkgirl. In the other Green Arrow. Let the battle to dead begin!!!!!”

He took an arrow, making himself ready to fight.

Kitty's eyes slowly opened and she sat up feeling disoriented the sound of the crowd cheering made her sit up fast. Her eyes widened when she saw Shayera against....Green Arrow? But that's not right she thought, wasn't Green Arrow a hero?

Clark wasn't sure where he was but the yells of the crowd woke him up, his eyes narrowed when he recognized Shayera in the arena. "Shayera!" He yelled and raced forward, his heart thudded painfully in his chest, he couldn't lose her he thought desperately. His eyes widened even more when he recognized her opponent, "Oliver?"" He asked in a heart broken whisper, he knew he would never forgive Oliver if Shayera got hurt or worse.

She opened her eyes. Dinah's eyes where on the field. "Heroes against heroes that isn't possible! Ollie don't!" She yelled. Running to the rail. She bit her lip. "What do you think you are doing?!"

Circe woke up. Looking at the arena smirking wide. "Seems like somebody kept their promise." sitting back and relaxed. She crossed her arms "interesting"

She woke up holding her head. She was going to have some more to drink to even out the hangover. She got up and went to watch the match. She saw Buddy there with the birdwoman she had beaten once. She smirked, amused.

Wally woke up and noticed he was on the arena. He saw Canary and ran to the railing. His heart sank when he saw Shayera set against Arrow. "No!" He whispered afraid.

Shayera woke up, seeing where she was. She got up, looking around as her glance stopped at Clark. Before she felt regret, looking back at Arrow, giving him a look that said to keep his promise. She grabbed her mace, flying at him fast as she swung her mace, sending him flying into a wall. Shayera gave him a look, that told him he was going to have to fight her for real.

He heard his friends scream. He looked at Shayera. She gave him a look, a look that he must keep his promise. She flew at him hitting him with her mace. He was flying for a couple seconds before he hit the wall. His body hurt. He fell on the ground, he will be half dead when the battle is over. He stood up. He ran away from the wall and her. Aiming and letting the arrow fly. The arrow got in her leg. He took another arrow. He needed to react fast. Because the wound wouldn’t stop her. I need to aim for her wings. He thought.

Clark cried out when Shayera was shot in the leg and tried to get to her but was stopped by a muscled guard. "Shayera!" He yelled and could feel tears run down his face. Kitty ran up to him and grabbed his arm, "Clark, Shayera can hold her own in a fight you have to trust her." She said even as tears were running down her own face.

Rogue felt weird, she heard people screaming at Shayera and Green Arrow. She was confused knowing they were both Heroes. "What's going on?" she wondered before seeing Superman trying to go into the arena. Rogue quickly held the other arm, "Clark, calm down please. She can handle her own." After the incident Rogue had become able to use her powers on her own. She didn't need the gloves anymore. Her hands touched Clark's arm roughly trying to pull him back.

She was impressed when Buddy shot the woman in the knee. "That isn't going to slow her down. Aim for the wings." She said, more to herself than him.

Wally screamed when Shayera got shot in the knee. He squeesed Dinahs hand. He wanted to go there and help but couldn't. He wanted to kill Ollie for that.

Shayera tried to dodge the arrow, only to shriek when the arrow hit her knee. She grabbed the arrow, pulling it out of her. She looked at Ollie, flying fast now as she threw punches at him, and when he would dodge, she'd hit him with her mace. Her eyes narrowed, telling him to work harder. Though, only he would see her looks.

"SHAYERA!"

Shayera winced when she heard Flash and Clark scream, the tears were forming in her eyes, she pinned Arrow to the wall, "You better make sure you protect them. Or my death will before nothing." She whispered to him, before she let him punch her in the stomach, making her stumble back. Her eyes widened when he kicked her, sending her flying. Though she got up, flapping her wings, ready to fly at him.

Dinah screamed once shayera hit Ollie. Biting her lip. She squeezed Wally's hand even more. "Stop it!" She blinked the tears away in her eyes. "Ollie stop!"

Circe smirked once the arrow hit the winged girl. She enjoyed the fight.

She was flying towards him. He slid under her through. Shooting an arrow. He turned around. He saw the arrow in her other leg. He took a new arrow. He aimed fast and let go. The arrow flew, straight in the wings.
He shoot two mores pining her stuck to the wall. She was stuck and hurt. He stood up.
He walked close to her, taking the maces away. “Promises are forever.” He whispered, no one else saw that.
He threw it behind him. He looked at her while putting some spaces between them.

Shayera turned around, screaming when the arrows struck her wings. She was pinned against the wall, the tears started to stream. She just gave him a look, before she screamed, "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!?" Shayera yelled, asking him as if she didn't know. She struggled, looking up at Flash and Clark..Before she looked at Arrow, giving him a look to do it, letting the tears stream, "JUST STOP OLLIE! YOUR NOT LIKE THIS!" Her acting was good, so good..no one would even know.

He watched her cry. “Yes. Well, actually I am.” He took another arrow, playing with it. “You see. Things change so fast.”
He let the arrow fly. Missing her head just one centimeter. He smiled at her.
“Awwww.” He shook his head a little bit. “I missed.”

Shayera eyes widened, her heart stopping when she saw the arrow miss. Her eyes looked at Ollie, the tears falling down, "Don't do this." She said, though no one could see the true meaning in her eyes...Only Ollie, "Please..Don't do this..." She stared at him before she whispered, barely moving her lips so no one could see it..Only Arrow would see her mouth move, and the words she spoke..

"Do it, now.."

He saw the words. Only they could see the words in each other eyes. And only she knew it killed him.
“Because we were friends, I won’t torture you more.” He took the arrow he made special for her, it would kill her immediately.
He aimed for her heart. Before he let go he said: “I am not sorry.”
The arrow flew. It went straight through her heart. Her head went down. She was dead.

From the inside he torn another piece of his heart. If he would turn around to see his friends, he would break even more. But he had too.He smiled, turning around to look at his former friends. He gave them a look. A cold look that told them that Ollie was dead.

Clark saw red when Oliver shot Shayera in the heart, he screamed in rage and leapt over the rail to run towards Shayera's fallen body. He shoved Oliver out of the way and cradled Shayera to him as he sobbed, "Shayera.....don't leave me." He said in a broken hearted whisper. He stroked her red hair and stared down at her, she was still alive but only barely and that made him angry, angry at Oliver for causing her more pain. "I love you." He whispered as more tears made their way down his face.

Dinah screamed once she saw Shayera's head fall down. "Ollie!! How could you?!!" The tears fell down. She wanted to jump over the rail but was stopped by Wally. "How could you?!!" She kept repeating. Trying to get out of Wally's grip. She stopped seeing the cold look. She burried her face into Wally's chest.

Circe tilted her head. She clapped for the man. "You're in!" She yelled at him. "Welcome in the club my friend." Smiling wickidly

Shayera braced herself, before screaming as the arrow pierced her heart. Her green eyes widened, before they closed and her whole body fell to the ground, having the arrow rip her wings. Her red hair over her face, as the tears rolled down her face. She looked at the sky, feeling her heart getting slower, and slower. She gave Ollie one last look, that said; Keep your promise..

Shayera looked at Clark, feeling the tears streaming down her face, putting her hand on his face, "I..." She then coughed up blood, her eyes softened as she looked at Clark, "I-I love you too, Clark....I always will...and.." She coughed again, "I will always love you.." She said, before her eyes closed, her heart stopped. And her hand that was on his cheek, fell to her side. Her head moving to the side, her hair moving one last time..As her body became still..

She watched the scene in facination, occasionally looking at the heroes. They were really distraught. She smirked when Arrow gave Hawkgirl the last shot. "He is one of us now." She looked at Buddy, hoping he saw her there.

Wally kept screaming for Ollie to stop, and for Shayera to fight. When he pinned her down, Wally couldn't help the tears forming in his eyes. He knew it was about to end. When Ollie shot the last arrow, Wally fell to his knees, crying uncontrollably, holding Canaary to his chest.

She wrapped her arms arround Wally. Continue to cry. She couldn't believe it... How could Ollie do this... When you think you know somebody. She bit her lip taking a very deep breath. She opened her eyes looking to Wally. Who did not seem to be able too stop cryinq. She held Wally close to her. Looking over her shoulder. She glared at Ollie. He would pay for this. If not from her than from the others.

When her eyes closed Clark stared down at her in shock, "Shayera?" He asked numbly, hot tears ran down his face and he pressed one final kiss to her still warm lips. When he pulled back he couldn't keep back the sobs that tore past his throat and held her in his arms as he cried in agony.

He looked at Clark. He smiled but from the inside deep in a hiding place. He was crying with Clark, with everyone. He wanted to walk to him telling everything. But that was Impossible. He made a promise he was going to keep.

He turned around seeing the villains. Circe was yelling and smiling wickedly. "You're in! Welcome in the club my friend."
Superwoman was looking in fascination. He walked towards them. He looked at superwoman and Circe, he gave them a small smile. A smile that said he was happy but he was tired of the drama here.
“Do ladies want leave with me?” He didn’t wait for an answer. He started to walk. Superwoman started to walk with him. He looked at her. “Did the lady enjoy the show?”

She smirked. "The lady did." She took his arm and started to walk out with him. "One thing is for sure, you can put on a show. But how are you in bed, that's what I'd like to know." She said clearly flirting with him.

Wally tried to calm down. He couldn't believe it. His bestman and a friend killed Shayera. The woman that was like a sister to him. He felt weak, he felt stupid, it all felt so unreal. "Why did he do that?"
