Goodbye...

Laura was sleeping, moving herself to her other side. She went to reach for Adam, feeling her hand just plop on the bed sheets. Her eyes shot opened, "A-Adam?!" She asked, before she looked around, stopping when she saw him sitting on the edge of the bed. Laura felt something was off, "Anthony..?" She asked, hoping it really wasn't him.

He lifted his head from his thoughts. "Yep." He looked at her, waiting for her reaction.

Laura backed up, "What do you want?" She asked, not really in the mood to talk to him. After the shit he did to her..Even though she deserved it.

"Relax I'm not here to pick a fight with you. Actually I came to say you win." He said looking at her intently.

Laura froze as her eyes widened, "W-What?" She asked, looking at him in confusion.

He looked at her annoyed now. "I came to say you win. I'm not gonna fight you anymore."

Laura looked at him, "I didn't know this was a win or loose fight." She said, looking away. She got up as she turned to him, "Look, I just want you to know something." Laura saw him look at her, "I deserved all of that shit you put me through.."

"If you say so, though he dissagrees with that. Just mark my words. If you put him through shit, I will take over again." He said with a very serious face.

She walked to him, "If I ever do that..Shadow King can take me, and make me stay away from him..for good." She said, seeing his once again semi-shocked face.

He shook his head. "No. If you put him through shit again I will take you down with my own hands."

"Why can't you see how much I regret what I did? Why do you keep..Nevermind." She said, going back to the vanity, "Thanks for stabbing me in the eye.."

He looked at her. "I do see your regret. Doesn't mean I forgive you. You are welcome." He said laying down on the bed. "Well make it count. I'll be watching you." He said closing his eyes. Adam was sleeping now, utterly clueless about his nightly stroll.

Laura looked at him, before she looked into the mirror. Her eyes then softened, looking down. Before she walked to the bed, looking at Adam as she felt the tears stream down her face, "I'm sorry..for everything I put you through.." She whispered to him, before she laid down, snuggling against him.
