A month later..

Laura walked in the house. Her vision blurry, and her head throbbing. The sores on her hands were bandaged up. And, there was quite a few bruises on her body. The serum was still in her, and it wasn't helping the healing process. But, her stomach had healed. Though, she would get pains now and them. Making it hard for her to walk. She had her hands on the wall, helping herself walk down the hall to her room. Before she suddenly fell to the side of the wall, making a thud..Her eyes stayed on one spot, trying to get her vision a little less blurry..
She had to try one thing, maybe one thing that could help her, "A-Adam.." Laura cried out, but, it was too low. She tried again, "A-Adam.." She cried out a little bit louder, hoping him he would've heard her..

He was laying on his bed in his room. Laura had been gone for a month and he was worried. He had tried to get Superwoman to help him find Laura, but she had declined. Saying that she wouldn't stand against the big bosses, she didn't want trouble. He missed Laura so much. Adam He opened his eyes hearing his name be said. He sat up and looked around the room. "Am I imagining things?" He whispered to himself. Adam There it was again, but louder and the voice sounded familiar. He jumped off the bed when he realised who it belonged to. He rushed to the door and opened it. His eyes widened when he saw her. "Laura!!!" He ran to her, picking her up in his arms and hugging her thight. "You are alive!!"

Laura had looked up, seeing Adam, a smile broke on her face, "Adam." She then groaned, almost screaming as he hugged her tight. Her eyes were closed tight, she knew it wasn't his fault..She had her weapon suit on, so he wasn't able to see her wounds, "H-Hey.."

He let go of her and looked at her face. "Where have you been? What did he do to you? How did you escape?" He took her face in between his hands and stroked her cheeks with his thumb. He couldn't believe she was here. He felt a couple of tears running from his eyes.

Laura looked at him, shaking her head, "I-I can't tell you..I'm-I'm not going back there ag-ain." Her voice broke. Her eyes looked into his, her whole body trembling, she winced when her stomach gave her some pain, "All I-I c-can say, I-Is that, they brought m-me h-here.." Her voice was trembling, before she fell forward into his arms. Her jacket had fallen off of her shoulder, showing the bruises and marks from where she had the serum place in her on her back. And, if he would take off her jacket, her left arm, wrist to elbow would be bandaged up. And, nothing would change if he would take her shirt off. But, there were some that probably disappeared before his eyes, due to her healing.

He caught her when she fell forward. He saw some bruises on her back and pulled the coat off more, seeing even more and her arms had been bandaged. He gasped in shock. He picked her up in his arms and caried her to her room, laying her down on the bed. He felt responsible for her suffering. If he hadn't asked anything from her the first time, she wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Laura laid on the bed, she saw his expression, making her grab his sleeve. She shook her head, "It's not your fault.." Her green eyes, stared into his. Though, the bright green eyes he knew..Her a very hazy green now. Which kind of gave him a sign that she was being drugged almost everyday, "But, he made it clear..Not to speak about it..And, he doesn't want you to ask about it..If it wasn't for me, talking to him like that..He would've killed you..This is the only information, I can give out..Anymore then this, and I won't be able to come back...And, like he said last time we were here...He'll blind me and put me on a collar.."

She felt the tears coming..Remembering how he had forced her to fight him at one point..And the tests she was forced to take..And how she had cried out for Adam..

She saw Adam was getting up, she turned over onto her side. Grabbing his suit immediately, "No! D-Don't..don't leave me..I-I..don't want to be away from you...I-I..I-I...don't..want...to..be away from you..ever again..Your the only one who cares for me..A-And the only one I c-care for.."

He looked at her saddly, and crawled on the bed next to her. He put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. "I don't want to be separated from you again either." He softly stroked her shoulder and started to hum.

Laura clinged to his chest, like she didn't want him to ever leave. She didn't even care that her jacket was off, showing the bruises on her..She just wanted him, and only him..

He felt her clinging to him. He pulled her closer and kissed the top of her head softly. "Are you hungry?"

Laura looked up at him, before nodding, "Though..I would like a shower first." She seemed to laugh softly.

He sat up. "Can you manage the shower by yourself? I could go make you something. What would you like?" He smiled softly to her.

"I think I could.." She said, getting up onto her feet. She tried to balance herself, but it was hard. Laura sighed, "I-I don't think I can.." She said before she fell to the side, making her hand catch herself on the wall fast. Her eyes looked down, before she shook her head, trying to get her vision back..

He smiled fondly, as he got up to pick her in his arms. He caried her to the bathroom and placed her sitting on the edge of the bath tub as he helped her to get undressed, and took off her bandages. He tried not to make a face when he saw some of the baddest bruises and cuts she had. He helped her in the bath tub and took of his coat, and started to wrap up his sleeves. He started the water and took the showerhead from it's stand. He tested the water and showered her with it. He took some shampoo and washed her hair, he rinsed her long hair before he aplied conditioner. When he was done with that he took a sponge and rubbed some soap on it before he gently started to wash her body. When she was clean, he turned off the water and got a big towel and wrapped it around her, making her look like a cocoon. He caried her to the bed and sat her there, when he went to clean up the bathroom.

Laura sat in the bath tub, wincing as she felt the warm water hit her skin. Her eyes closed, feeling him wash her hair. She felt how soft he touched her. Making sure he wasn't hurting her, which made her smile as she looked over her shoulder at him. Her hair was washed. And he was now washing her body, she winced at first. But, she got use to his touch real fast. When he was done, she let him help her out of the bathtub. Holding the towel around her, as he carried her to the bed. She sat down, before she got up, walking to the drawers as she held the towel around her. Laura took some clothes out, before she rested herself against the drawers..Before she looked up, seeing her bruises, making her remember how she got them..

He came out again, surprised to see her up. "You aren't feeling dizzy?" He asked as he offered his hand to her for support.

Laura looked at him, grabbing his hand immediately before she would fall. Her hand was still keeping the towel around her. Her eyes looked at the mirror, seeing him hold her..A soft smile appeared on her face. Her eyes then wandered to her clothes, "I do not know how, I'm going to manage putting on my clothes.."

He blushed a bit, hearing her unintentional flirt. He helped her back on the bed and looked at her clothes. He helped her to put on her underwear first, before he proceeded to dress her wounds. When he was done with that he took a t-shirt and held it up so she could put her arms and head through the holes. He then took the kneehigh socks and slowly pulled them upto her knee. He got up grinning at himself for some reason. He took the pants and looked at them. "I'm gonna change the pants you picked to something less skinthight okay?" He said as he went to the dresser, to look for a pair. When he found them he helped her get into them. He put the pants to her ankles and then helped her to stand and pulled the pants up all the way. He stood close to her smiling to her gently. "There, all done." He said looking into her eyes.

Laura looked up at him when he was done. Her body freezing at how he was smiling at her. And looking into her eyes. Her cheeks turned a little red, she returned his smile. Her eyes looking at him, before she gently placed one hand on his cheek..As if she was making sure this wasn't a dream..

He smiled softly, and brought his own hand to her hand, when she touched his cheek. He slided her hand to the corner of his mouth and gave a soft kiss on her palm.

Laura blushed more, looking down as she tried to hide it..

She was happy to be with him again..

He smiled at her blushing. He took her hand down from his face, and held it. "Come on lets get you some food." He said supporting her walk, as they made their way to the diningroom.

Laura clinged to him, walking with him to the dining room.
