2 days after the shots..

Laura had taken a bath before she arrived back at the brotherhood, she moved her hair out of her face. She had no emotions, something that always happened when she had shots. She walked past Adam's room, not even looking in. If he would see her, she would've looked different. And, there would be bruises from the shots on her body. She walked to her bed, before falling straight down on the bed. Her eyes closing as she tried to go back to sleep, but, her body was aching..

He decided to go see if Laura had returned yet. He didn't bother to knock, thinking she wouldn't still be back. To his surprise he saw her there. His eyes immediately fell on the bruises. He closed the door quietly and walked to her. "Laura? Are you okay? What happened to you?"

"They found me..And, instead of a collar..I got shots." She managed to say, her voice was weak, "I get shots, instead of a collar...If I misbehave.." She curled up, covering the bruise on her lower back area, with the blanket.

He felt bad, he was partially guilty. He took her hand in his, and caressed it gently with his thumb. "I'm so sorry Laura." He managed to say quietly.

Laura winced, feeling him grab her hand. She looked up at him finally.

"I'm so sorry Laura."

She shook her head, "D-Don't be.." Her voice was shaking, but, it was because of the pain she was in. Her eyes closed, before she buried her head into the pillow.

He let go of her hand, having a feeling he hurt her. "Would you like for me to get you something?" He looked around the room, not knowing what to do.

"I..I don't know.." She said, before she turned her head to look at him, "I don't know if..they even have my pain killers..Though, if they were using the four shots, that, the lab always gave me. They might have the painkillers, but, I have no idea where.."

He smiled to her softly. "I'll go get you some painkillers." He exited the door and went to the medical lab. He rumaged the cabinets until he found some, and put it in his pocket. He then stopped by the dining room and took some chocolate cake for her. When he went back to her room he remembered to knock now. "Hi I brought you some desert after you tkae you medicine." He said taking the medicine botle and shaking it.

Laura nodded, before turning on her stomach, putting her hand on her head. She got up when she heard Adam.
She saw the painkiller, seeing it was indeed the one she always took, "Thank you." Laura said, before she saw him put some in a little cup. She took it gently from him, before taking it. Her face deformed into disgust, "That shit, always tasted nasty..But, it helps.." She said, before she shook her head a little. Her green eyes looked up at him, before she looked at the piece of cake. Her eyes widened a bit, when he suddenly gave it to her, she looked up at him, "Thanks." She smiled, before she started to eat it slowly.

He sat next to her on the bed. "I'm glad you are feeling better." He smiled gently to her. He then looked at her hand. "Listen about the kiss.... I wont mind you doing it again, but if I ever hurt you you must tell me." He turned to look at her.

Her eyes widened, before she looked up at him, "W-What?" She asked, a bit shocked..

He smiled shyly. "If you still like me like that, I wont stop you."

"I-I still do.." She said, looking away shyly, feeling herself blush..

He smiled softly to her and leaned to kiss her lips softly. "There, now try to sleep. It will do you good." He started to stroke her hair again and humming a lullaby to her.

Her eyes widened, feeling him kiss her softly. She returned the kiss, before looking at him as he spoke. She nodded, before laying back down. Laura gave him a soft smile, before she closed her eyes, listening to his lullaby before she fell asleep.

He kept stroking her hair a while after she had fallen asleep. He stopped his humming and took his hand away. He leaned and kissed her cheek softly. "Sleep well Laura." He walked out of the room.
