Rogue's eyes flashed back to Mystique's before turning back into hers. She ran towards the Danger Room.

She locked the door behind her. After a moment of silence, she screamed in anger and in heartbreak all over again.

Kara smiled, feeling his kiss. She hugged him tighter, burying her face into his chest, "I make the same promise.." She said softly, looking up at him as she smiled at him. Having some tears fall down her cheeks. Her moonlit eyes showing the most honest truth, "I'm your protector..And your my protector..."
