It is all about her

Oliver was standing in front of the jeweler’s shop. After looking around he decided to not be a pussy and just go inside and buy a ring. He placed his head against the window. That wasn’t so simple. He had been to a lot of shops but no where they had decent rings. And some shops just got crazy because of him and kicked him out. “And I always thought that proposing was the hard part.”

Johnny was walking along the street when he saw a guy dressed in green looking at a jewelry store.

"Hey man. You need some help?" Johnny threw his arm around the guys shoulder.

Chloe was making her way down the street and saw a sight that she thought she would never have witnessed, Johnny and Oliver next to each other. Her eyebrows went up but she made her way towards them, "Hey Oliver, hey Johnny." She said as she neared them.

He looked at the man who had threw his arm around his shoulder. He was about to ask who the hell he was when he heard another voice. His mind made the simple puzzle Johnny Quick. Raper and friend of Amanda. He turned around making the arm fall of his shoulder. “Ehm. I was just looking for a…”He thought about. Well he needed help. “I’m actually searching for a ring.”

"Engagement ring for your girl?" He asked. "Hi Chloe." Johnny waved happily.

Chloe caught the tail end of what Oliver had said and her eyes widened in shock, "Oh Oliver, you're going to ask her to marry you?" She asked excitedly as her smile widened.

He blushed. “Well that was the plan. But I’m having a hard time finding a good ring.” He went with his hands through his hair. “So I wonder. If you two could help me out. I mean a girl touch and a friend advice would be helpful.”

"Sure dude. Lets take a look around." Johnny grabbed Ollie's arm and Chloe's hand and dragged them both into store to have a closer look around.

Chloe was unprepared to be pulled into the store but went along with it and looked around at the display cases. One of the attendants upon seeing them hurried forward, "Is there a particular item you would like to examine?" She asked, keeping her focus on both Oliver and Johnny. Chloe felt like rolling her eyes and forced a smile on her face, 'We're actually looking for the perfect engagement ring." She said and pulled Johnny closer to her side, "Do you think you can help us?" She asked with a fake smile.

Oliver looked at Chloe and Johnny. He didn’t really like it but they were here to help him. He watched the reaction of the attendants.

Johnny turned to Chloe in confusion when she wrapped her arm around his. Was she high? He knew he hadn't injected any speed juice into her, so what was she doing? He knew she didn't like touching him since he raped her.


"Uh, yeah start showing us stuff." Johnny kept looking at Chloe as he spoke.

Chloe could tell that Johnny was confused by her actions and turned a fake dazzling smile up at him. A huge part of her wanted to burst out laughing as the look on his face was priceless but she contained herself. The attendent led them towards a few display cases, "Just tell me which one catches your interest." She said sounding bored now knowing that Johnny was 'taken'. Chloe released Johnny's arm to study the rings in front of her, some of them looked a little too boring.

He walked with them to the display cases. He was smirking about the fact that Chloe could read people still so easy. “You should stop being so good in acting and reading peoples mind, Chloe.” He looked at the rings, some were pretty but not good.

Johnny was still very confused and just stood there for a few minutes looking around at the rings. "What about those rings?" Johnny asked pointing to a case in the back. In his experience the most expensive stuff was in the back so it was at least worth a look.

Chloe smirked up at Oliver when he said that, "Oh but where's the fun in that?" She asked teasingly before following Johnny to the other display case. She smiled when she saw that here was a set of rings that looked like Amanda. She bit her lip and studied one that she liked, "Hmmm what about that?" She asked as she pointed it out to Oliver and Johnny.

He looked at the ring that Chloe was pointing at. “That almost yells Amanda.” He laid his hand round her waist,
giving her a side huge. “A woman’s taste. Check.” He released Chloe turning at Johnny. “What do you think?”

"That is definitely Manda's ring." Johnny grinned down at it.

Chloe felt like cheering and smiled triumphantly down at the ring before gesturing to the attendant lady and flagged her down. "I think we found the perfect ring." She said and pointed out the ring to her. The attendant smiled thinly at her before plucking the ring from its case, "Let me just ring that up for you, do you want it wrapped sir?" She asked Oliver in simpering tones, to which Chloe made a face.

Johnny rolled his eyes. He had always hated guys like this. Even when they were serving him he hated them. "Are we done now?" Johnny asked wanting to get away from the loser sales person.

Chloe had to fight to keep from bursting into more laughter, "I think we are." She said and waited for the attendant lady to rattle off the price to Oliver. Once Oliver had bought and paid for the ring , they headed outside "Well that was fun, good luck on the proposal Oliver." She said as she smiled up at him.

He wasn’t ignoring the woman conscious. His mind was preoccupied by Amanda. He only noticed he had the small box with the ring in his hand when Chloe spoke to him while smiling. He smiled back. “I hope that will be easier than buying the ring. Thanks for your help Chloe.” He looked at Johnny, smiling. “And thank you also.”
