Arena Match: Artemis vs. X-666

The two figures lying down on the arena floor slowly woke up as the sound of the crowd reached them, "Ladies and Gentlemen! Draw your eyes to the center ring...today we have the pleasure of witnessing a ultimate match! For we have the strong courageous, annnd vigilant Artemis! And in the other corner we have the cheerful, the malicious, annd the killer X-666!" The announcer yelled into his mic as the two woman faced each other.

Jane woke up to find herself in an Arena. She was in her costume and her new pompoms in front of her. She got up to see another blonde haired woman named Artemis getting up as well. Jane smiled as she picked up her pompoms and started to jump up and down, "Your going down!!!" She laughed and giggled, grinning very wide as she was confident in herself.

Amanda woke up in the arena, she found herself in the familiar villains box. She got up and went to see who were fighting. She smirked seeing Artemis there. "Show your best archer girl." She said leaning on the railing and watching the match with interest.

Wally woke up groaning when he saw that he had been brought to the arena again. He went to see who were fighting. His eyes widened. "ARTEMIS!!! DON'T YOU DARE DIE!!!" He yelled to her gripping the railing.

Artemis woke up and looked around immediately, seeing that she was in an arena.

Fuck.. She thought in her head, she was going to have to kill somebody..And she wasn't looking forward to it, but she had to win..For Pietro and everyone else. She took a deep breathe as she looked at the cheerleader girl with metal pompoms jumping up and down as she got up.

"Your going down!!!"

Artemis narrowed her eyes, picking up her bow and she patted her back to see she had her arrows on her. She looked at the woman, "I'm sorry to let you down preppy, but I'm not going down until you do!" She said as she stood there and took an arrow out and put it on her bow.

Jane giggled, "Well your confident! That's good!" She said before her eyes narrowed as she smiled, "But that won't help you...AT ALL!" She laughed as she ran at the girl, knowing she would not do so good at close to close contact.

Artemis's eyes narrowed as she backed up fast, shooting an arrow at the girl, cutting her cheek as it flew past her.

Jane shrieked when the girl's arrow sliced her cheek. She felt the blood trickle down, "OH NO!" She shrieked, growing angry as she ran at Artemis. She was close to now so she moved fast, slashing her pompoms at her as she laughed.

Artemis started to dodge, though she knew she had to get rid of her bow in order to protect herself. She threw the bow to the other side of the arena.

I'll get it when I knock her down and am able to get away from her. She thought as she thought about a strategy. She started to dodge the attacks from the girl, throwing a punch as she made contact to the girl's face. Artemis didn't turn her back on her girl as she started to beat her.

Jane shrieked when she was getting beaten, though she saw a opening and did a swift move. She kicked the woman in the stomach, before she went behind her fast when she doubled over a little. She laughed as she cut Artemis in the back with a swift move of her pompoms.

Artemis screamed as the metal pompoms cut her in the back. It felt like a ton of scratches at once, making her vision go white a little. Though she pulled through it, turning around as her hair whipped around and kicked the girl in the face hard, knocking her down.

Jane shrieked as she fell down, glaring up at the woman, jumping back up at her as she slashed her pompoms at her, "YOU WILL LOOSE!! HAHAHAHA!" She laughed, moving fast.

Artemis dodged out of the way of the pompoms, before she was suddenly slashed in her side. She groaned, the girl was fast..She was well trained, but she couldn't give up and let her win. Artemis started to attack back, not caring if some attacks got her cut.

Jane laughed at how she was able to cut the girl's side, though she was surprised when that didn't stop her. She kept dodging, laughing when the girl would hurt herself. Though she suddenly started to put less effort, turning around fast to throw Artemis off of the game.

Artemis smirked.

Mistake!

Artemis was able to grab the girl's arm, twisting her arm making her let go of one of her pompoms. She spinned and threw the girl into the wall, making her hit her head hard. She then took that to run towards to her bow.

Jane screamed when her head hit the wall, making her loose focus..Her forehead was bleeding..And finally..she needed to be serious..Her eyes narrowed deadly as she turned around, "Screw being happy right now..Time to be serious, blondie.." She said as she walked to her other pompom, picking it up. Though she didn't know where the woman went.

Artemis grabbed her bow, turning around fast as she shot a arrow at the girl.

Jane heard a strange sound in the wind, turning around as she blocked herself from the arrow. Her eyes narrowed as she ran fast at the woman, "YOUR DEAD!!!!"

Artemis started running back, shooting arrows at the girl. Some arrows she dodged, some arrows she didn't. Though she was suddenly against the wall of the arena. And she quickly dodged a punch, leaving Jane to punch the wall. She quickly acted and kicked the girl off of her feet.

Jane fell off of her feet, glaring up at Artemis, ignoring all of the cuts she was in. Though the woman was bleeding badly, but she was somehow ignoring it. Though she saw an opening, slashing at the back of the woman's right leg, knocking her down.

Artemis screamed as the woman hurt her bad leg. She fell down as she glared at the woman. Her eyes then looked up at the crowd, looking at Flash, Pietro and everyone else. She had to win, looking at the woman..

Jane just glared trying to see what she could do next..And idea popped into her head as she smirked. She lunged herself at the girl, punching her in the stomach with her pompoms, giving her a good couple of gashes.

Artemis screamed in pain, before she grabbed the girl's arm, blocking her punch as she headbutted her in the face. Her eyes then looked at her pompoms, they were going blurry. Her head shook as she twisted her hand, gripping the pompom fast. She slashed at the girl, her survival instinct finally coming towards. Her and she was now playing dirty.

Jane screamed when she was slashed, she tried to attack but she couldn't. The woman kept slashing her, and when she was done she was thrown into the wall. Her eyes narrowed as her vision went blurry. This was the final straw, SHE HAD TO WIN! Jane quickly outsmarted Artemis, acting as if she was going to attack her with her pompom, punching the girl fast to the ground.

Artemis fell to the ground, screaming when the girl slashed her in the back again over and over. Her vision was getting blurrier and blurrier. Her eyes closed as she laid there still...

Jane smirked as she went to do the final blow.

Artemis turned around fast as she punched the girl in her stomach with her own pompom. She threw her against the wall, thriving in pain. She got up, letting herself bleed out. Her vision was really blurry, but she was keeping herself focus, helping her eyesight. Artemis picked up her bow and shot arrows, making them pin the girl to the wall. She walked to her, "Goodbye..." She said weakly, her full survival instinct had finally kicked in. She backed up and shot an arrow at the girl's heart, piercing it before she walked to her and snapped her neck, making sure she would die fast.

Jane's eyes widened as she screamed when the arrow pierced her heart..She looked up at her, "I..hate yo-!" She went silent as the woman snapped her head, killing her. Her whole body went limp as she stayed against the wall..

Artemis stood there, backing up as she heard some cheers and boos roar up. She slowly looked up at Pietro and smiled, before her eyes rolled back and she passed out from loss of blood.

Wally let out a sigh of relief, but it was not over yet. He hurried down to Artemis to see if she was allright.

Amanda smirked. "Well that was intense." She said as she headed back home.

Pietro rushed down to Artemis. He was at her side in seconds. Pietro lifted Artemis into his arms. "Oh Baby." Pietro could barely breath he was so afraid to lose Artemis so soon after he found her. Pietro ran her to the Med Bay. He placed her on the bed and began rushing around her bandaging her wounds, using the medical knowledge he had learned from his father and books he had read in school. He hooked her up to blood and plasma and bandage all her injures after making sure there were no outside participial in the wounds and making sure there were also no internal injures. Artemis laid on the bed and Pietro sat in a chair next to her taking a breath for the first time in what seemed like days.
